Conveniently and perfectly located! Our cottage is located on a quiet dead end street yet walking distance to shops, restaurants, live music, markets, the amtrak station and all that downtown Freeport has to offer. A short drive to Wolfe's Neck State Park, Bradbury Mountain State Park, Mast Landing Audubon Sanctuary, the Desert of Maine and the beautiful mid-coast coastline.

We were impressed with the property. Very comfortable and nice layout. Within walking distance to shopping and if your a geocacher there are some to find in walking distance.

Great Location
The cottage could not be in a better location for visiting Freeport. It is an incredibly short walk to the downtown area, so much so we almost never drove even with the two kids. It is also a very short drive from the highway and wolfs neck state part. The cottage was the perfect size for us and clean which made the stay enjoyable

Convenient location in a cozy setting
Walking distance to LLBean and Freeport shopping areas and 25 min drive to Portland but still felt remote and private. Excellent communication with host, Maranda. House was basic but equipped with everything we needed (host even checked to make sure during our stay) and spotlessly clean.

A wonderful find
I was pleased to find this rental while searching a mid-coast location. Very clean, quiet and well equipped cottage on a dead end street , walking distance from LLBean and stores on Main st. Comfortable beds, smart tvs, and well equipped kitchen made it a real home feel vacation.

Potential improvement
It would be great if they put in a half bath on second floor, maybe where the desk in the hall is now. It is a little difficult to get up in the night and have to go downstairs, also the bedroom doors need WD 40 for squeaking. We love the place and this is our 4th visit!!

Cute centrally located cottage!
My husband and I stayed at this sweet cottage along with our 2 year old- and it was the perfect size for a long weekend! The cottage is very family friendly- and includes a pack n play, high chair, gilder chair, and lots of toys! The cottage is on a quiet, dead end street, walking distance to the main shops and restaurants! The only small issue we had (and this was really just due to time of year) was that there is only AC in one of the bedrooms- and it got incredibly hot upstairs since it was a very hot weekend. Hosts were very responsive and happy to bring us more fans. Overall- we had a lovely time and would recommend!

The Outlet House
If I can summarize with two words: Perfect Location. Darling little house, clean, nice amenities. The little house is located in the heart of Freeport, walking distance to shopping and dining without worry of where to park your car. If I might give a plug for the Brick Hollow Brew pub. Outstanding pizza and live entertainment!!! Thank you for a great stay and hope to visit Freeport in the near future and stay with you!!

Great location to stay in Freeport in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was clean and well stocked. Close enough to walk into the shopping district of Freeport. This was also a nice central location to stay if you want to take some day trips along the coast.

Quiet Hidden Gem
The cottage is located within walking distance of town and the local grocery market. The large property surrounding the cottage at the end of a dead end street gave privacy and peace. The cottage is well equipped, clean, quaint, spacious, and located just behind the owners home. The one bathroom is located downstairs, with upstairs bedrooms. The owner respected our privacy and was available for any questions. We'd absolutely stay here again. It'll be our GO-TO destination! Sadly, we didn't see any moose.

Nice Place- close to Downtown
Nice place on a dead end residential street. We did drive to downtown simply because of not having to carry packages back to rental, but kids walked back and forth to stores (around 5 minute walk if that). Would/will stay again.
