Awesome second row Beach House located in Beautiful Surfside Beach (50 miles south of Houston). You can see the waves while lying in your bed in the master bedroom! The location is premium (middle beach) and access to the sand is extremely convenient...Newly extended deck that s very spacious and has beautiful views. An external shower with hot/cold water and privacy has been added downstairs for convenience... This is a sister property to "Bahama Mama" which is located next to it (search on Property ID 335582).

Great for Couples
We are 2 adult couples that vacation together alot and his house was perfect for us. Love the spacious partially covered front deck. It has a good view of the ocean off to the side. Beach access by foot isn't convenient, but not impossible. Overall we had a great time and would consider renting again.

The house and location was perfect. The access to beach was easy. Everything we needed was there. We had family in two other beach houses near us and ours was the best, hands down. The property manager was great and it was super easy to communicate with him. Will definitely use this beach house again.

Nice stay
We had an overall nice stay. The property was an easy walk to the beach and a had a nice view from the deck. Our only complaint was the strong sulfur (rotten egg) smell whenever you turned on the hot water. It made doing dishes or taking warm showers an unpleasant experience but the rest of the house was super nice.

Beautiful home
We loved the updated interior and easy beach access. The outside shower was very nice for rinsing off too. Our family of 8 found this to be a perfect space!

Great place!
Great location, great place, Had a great time. The house is much bigger than the pictures Show. Beach access is great, maybe 300 feet away from the water. We had a great time and will definitely put us back on our list to use again in the near future.

Excellent Stay!
Excellent communication from the host!!! The best I've ever had. This location is perfect for access to the beach, viewing the waves and relaxing. Everything was perfect. There is enough room for a party of 8 to eat together and hang out.

Cute and convenient!
Just celebrated 4th of July with family and friends at Sunny Days and will look into renting this location again. Huge deck, accommodating corridors, and a great location to be on the beach in a minute or less. Thankful for the bunk beds to allow the kids to enjoy their “sleep overs” with siblings and friends. Thank you for allowing us to stay there and will be back to surfside soon!

Very clean & great location
Property was very clean and stocked with basics (utensils, soaps, cleaning stuffs). Linens were very nice quality and clean. The location was convenient with a decked walk-over to the beach at the neighbors house. An enclosed outside warm shower to scrub all our sandy kids before going inside was SO NICE.

Great place!
We loved the whole place! Room big enough to put a playpen up with smaller ones made it so easy and still had room. We finally found a house with a gate on the desk so our smallest one couldn’t go down the stairs! Love it! It was so easy to get a hold of the host for anything thing we had questions about and even took the time to call us.

Exceptable but......
Overall was a good experience. There was a couple of issues. The first issue was in the back bedroom we found several spiders and one was on the bed, so maybe exterminating regulary can solve the problem. The most important issues was that the mattresses are really terrible. The front bedroom mattress was absolutly atrocious. If the owner would fix these two issues the place would be five stars. All in all we had a good stay.

Great Location
Even though this house is not directly on the beach, it feels like it, since it has a clear view of the beach and is just a few steps to the boardwalk to the beach. We really enjoyed the laidback atmosphere of surfside beach, and the beach itself is great, it had lots of room for us to hang out, relax and play. The house itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our large family of 8. We really liked the large deck and spent a lot of our time on it. There is also a cool little local souvenir shop a short walk from the house.

Inconvenient Beach access and water smells
No way directly on to beach. Homes in front of you have boardwalks but nothing for second row homes. Have to get in the car and go around the corner. Water condition is poor, stinks like rotten eggs, didn’t use to brush teeth and no one wanted to shower it smelled so bad. Signs up from 2021 say the area is having a water issue.

We rented this house starting on July 20th and the connecting house, Bahama Mama, starting on July 21st. Let me start with the positive: 1. Nice large decks with plenty of seating (Bahama Mama has better view) 2. Love the bridge that connects the houses 3. Easy access to the beach- VERY easy for second row house 4. Love the outdoor shower 5. Very roomy house and plenty of sleeping space Now for the cons: 1. Arrived and immediately noticed that the second bathroom had a toilet that was only semi-functional. It would flush, but then you had to wait two hours for it to refill. I texted the homeowner and he said he would get a plumber out (as this was very inconvenient for the 7 of us), but nothing ever happened. We resorted to having filled water bottles at the ready so that we could manually refill the tank. 2. ANTS everywhere. Texted homeowner and was told to go to Valero and get Raid and would be reimbursed 3. Found 3 roaches while there-one was HUGE 4. Cobwebs on the walls 5. Food splatters all over kitchen and side of refrigerator and the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in a while. Carpets need replaced. All in all, this could be a very nice house and a very nice location. If it starts to get cleaned better I would consider renting again.

Enjoyed our stay
Our family of six enjoyed our stay here. The beach house was clean and has a good layout with the rooms. Though it’s a second row beach house, it’s such a short walk. The views were good and we loved the sound of the ocean while sitting on the porch.
