The Space:
Relax and take in the gorgeous ocean views (often including dolphins) from the multi-level decks while you grill out (gas) and prepare your favorite dishes in the huge and well-appointed kitchen. Then, dine either indoors or outdoors with ample seating for all. Thereafter, chill in the welcoming family room with your preferred movie before you head to bed to rest in maximum comfort. All beds include high-quality bedding, so you're sure to have a good night's sleep.

NOTES:
1. Absolute maximum of 14 guests and 5 vehicles on the property at any time during your stay. No exceptions. Thank you.
2. Depending on the tide level, the amount of beach area ebbs and flows, so to speak. At times, the sand in front of the house may be completely covered with water and at other times not at all. Regardless, you will always see the Pass, Gulf and beautiful bridge views.
AREA (IMPORTANT):
While this home looks right out to the stunning San Luis Pass and beautiful Gulf (perfect for bird watching, sunning, beachcombing, fishing & sunrise/sunset viewing), the state of Texas in late 2017 has put a restriction regarding swimming in the Pass because of unpredictable riptides. Therefore, neighborhood swimming, water sport and surf fishing beach is a 9 min walk. See image included.
Guest Access:
EASY CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.
The Neighborhood:
TREASURE ISLAND: Stop by the local convenience store to snag some basic supplies and beverages, fill your bait bucket and/or rent a golf cart. Enjoy the Gulfside's uncrowded pedestrian beach (no cars allowed for 300 yards but golf carts welcomed) where you can setup your group's spot for the day on the beach to build sandcastles, jump in the surf, find unique shells and sand dollars, boogie board, shore & surf fish and build an evening bonfire. Or if preferred, utilize the available launch for your boat or fishing pier on the bayside. Some much to do so little time!
Getting Around:
SAN LUIS PASS:
San Luis Pass and Treasure Island have been known all over the United States for being a saltwater fishing hotspot and the most amazing sunrises & sunsets! It is 15 minutes from Surfside and across the bridge from Galveston's west end and only about 25-30 minutes to the heart of Galveston Island's activities. Most people come to the area to spend quality 'non-commercialized" time with family, extended family, and friends!

DOG-FRIENDLY:
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs considered, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee ($125 for 1 dog, extra $75 for 2) per stay.

All 979 Vacation Property Services rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
For any new reservation, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations.
After that, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less the booking fee.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels such as Airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor, etc may be subject to their terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. Please reference the site where you originally reserved your stay.
