This charming 2-bedroom bungalow in Surfside is your perfect escape. Relax in the spacious great room, perfect for after a day of building sandcastles or catching waves. A dedicated grilling deck off the kitchen when you want that fresh off the grill taste. The highlight is the rooftop deck – morning coffee with a panoramic view, doesn't get much better! When it's time to hit the sand, beach access is just a short 2-minute drive away. Welcome to your home away from home at Admiral's Lookout!

Location: Surfside Beach community of Freeport, Texas

Beach Access: Less than a 2 minute drive from Surfside Beach.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet Policy: Up to 2 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: There is room for up to 5 cars on the grass driveway.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, and open shelving provide ample storage and a stylish touch. The entire space is sure to be a favorite spot for mornings spent brewing coffee and making breakfast plans with your crew.

The primary bedroom offers a king-size bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed, perfect for couples or families with children. The ensuite bathroom with wood paneling details features a step-in shower for convenience.
The second bedroom features multiple bunkbeds and additional sleeping options, ideal for accommodating larger groups. This room also boasts a 4K flatscreen TV, creating a fun entertainment space. A second full bathroom with a tub/shower combination is conveniently located in the hallway.

This bungalow includes incredible outdoor areas. Soak up the sun on one of the two decks, both offering glimpses of the ocean. The main deck features a dining table, perfect for enjoying memorable meals under the sunset sky. Head upstairs to the rooftop deck for sunbathing or stargazing. On the ground level, you'll find a charcoal grill and a spacious lawn ideal for playing yard games.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 10 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Place is right next to the beach in a friendly neighborhood. AC was cold cold which made it easy to sleep in. Everything was as described. Would defintely stay again and recommend!

Quick get away
At the moment I drove up, my impression was not positive, the property had alot on exterior damage . Upon entering the home the door knob came apart, I notifyed owner but it was not fixed. The enterance of the home was dirty filled with dirt, spider webs and mold stains on walls. I walked around the home and noticed alot of cobwebs and mold stains around the windows blinds and A/C ducts. They beds sheets were not freshly clean. They had a bad odor and stains on some of the pillow cases. The decorative pillows were disgustingly dirty. One room had a window A/C and it did not cool and it was dirty as well.

The Listing is Misleading
The listing for this property shows pictures with gleaming, clean surfaces and rooms, lots of space, and cute decor. I also messaged the host when I first found the listing and asked him if everything in the condo was in working order, since Hurricane Beryl had damaged much of the area a few weeks before. He assured me that everything worked in the condo. Bottom line: the listing is misleading and the host either lied or was mistaken about everything working. When we arrived the first night, we had nearly no water pressure at all. No one could shower and the toilets wouldn't flush. I contacted the host around 10pm that night and he never replied before we went to bed. Messaged him again next morning and he still didn't reply for hours. I finally filed a complaint with VRBO and suddenly the host contacted me. He did send a repairman and plumbing was finally fixed. Furthermore, the house is a dump. The tiny kitchen has falling apart cabinets full of filth and junk, the linens were dirty, the pillowcases smelled like corn chips. The house has major foundation issues, doors won't close, it smells like mildew, coffee maker leaks, upper deck is rickety and dangerous, floors were filthy, and, for $1100 for three nights, they couldn't even provide decent paper towels. Do not fall for the lies in this listing that this is a nice place to stay. Can't even see the beach from the house. I won't ever book this house again, and I go to Surfiside multiple times a year.
