We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. It was a short walk to the lake area and heated pool, especially since we ended up with a cool, cloudy week, the kids enjoyed the heated pool.
