"I've booked rooms here previously for my husband's short visits but this is the first time I stayed here. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was for the price and how clean it was. The room had two beds, the one I slept in was comfortable, the bedding was clean and no holes. Even though the motel is older and not in a super nice area it was really well maintained and clean. "

"I just spent two nights at K&E and had a great stay. The owners are updating the rooms one by one (no construction noise at all), everything in my room was new and there literally wasn't a speck of dust on anything, it was spotless. Staying at any budget friendly motel is a gamble, you never know what you're going to get but this place is a true gem and I would much rather give my money to a local couple than a corporation. Nice people, nice motel, highly recommend!"

"Our group of friends came over from Seattle to shop and meet up with a friend who lives on the island. The house was great; all the beds are comfortable, the house is immaculate, easy/ample parking, and the neighborhood is quiet and nice. We loved the little extras like extra blankets & towels, a fully stocked spice collection, and all the canoeing & kayaking decorations. "Nice property. Beautiful home and fun area to explore. Very peaceful neighborhood. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Only missing oil and salt. Would recommend they replace some of their washcloths and bath towels as some are fraying and getting quite tired. Overall really enjoyed our stay."
