Other things to note
We love the water feature on our property and think you will, too! However, please use extra caution and monitor children closely to ensure their safety. In addition to water hazards, there are also spaces to consider up front and in the yard when children are present. We want everyone to have an enjoyable and safe stay.

Furry friends are welcome! Our property features a fully enclosed backyard area with gated fencing, ensuring a safe space for your pets to roam. However, please keep your beloved companions leashed when outside the fenced area, especially near the riverfront.

The house is located on the eastern side of US 31 and positioned on the northern bank of the river, our cozy tiny house offers high-speed internet for seamless streaming on your devices or for attending Zoom meetings while working remotely. For a scenic getaway to Lake Michigan, head just 13 minutes away to Magoon Creek, the closest public access point.

To safeguard your plans, we recommend Airbnb's travel insurance at checkout, providing coverage for unexpected cancellations due to illness or adverse weather. Please note our strict cancellation policy.

For your safety and to ensure compliance with our maximum guest limit of 14, the Ring doorbell at the front entrance is the only active camera on the premises. It operates 24/7, recording video and audio, reinforcing our commitment to your privacy and security.

The property also has a noise monitoring device on the back patio. This records decibel levels, not audio. Please be aware of the quiet hours we have in place out of respect to our neighbors in this residential area. Thank you!

Thee Place on the River to GO!!!!!
Thank you Steve and Josh along with your crew that check on us. My husband, 6 sons, daughter n law and blood hound Elton John had an amazing few days staying at your home on the river. Our happy place has always been Michigan, we go a few times a year for hunting, fishing, nature and I reading. Everything we needed was provided, if it wasn't the host was quick to respond and we were even checked on to ensure we had a memorable stay. We've stayed in countless rentals over the years since we've sold our Michigan home. This by far was the best. Our family of 6 sons ranging from 15-25 yrs of age had space to be seperate yet together. The property was well maintained as well as the interior, the decor was beyond welcoming and engaging. Games were abundant, no one ever got bored on downtime. The hosts provided everything needed and we had privacy which is very rare. Our boys were able to hunt, fish two amazing rivers, kayak and enjoy each other in the time we spent here. We even shopped, golfed and walked the beach; all within 15 minutes of this property. Thank you for the great weekend and engaging time together. We all look forward to next year.

8/10 Good

Good place, some fixable annoying but overlooked issues
1. A cloud of Fruit flies in the kitchen and the bathroom near the kitchen, made the bathroom pretty much unusable. 2. The secondary bedroom on the first floor door latch needed to be fixed. Locked us in the room multiple times, not related to the door lock. We ended up just leaving the door open. 3. The neighbors that complained about the previous renters noise had 2 large dogs which constantly barked aggressively when anyone was outside. 4. The north west door was unlocked when we arrived. 5. The master patio door does not lock, tried several times. The door sliding stick is the only thing keeping someone from opening it.
