We had a great stay at this piece of history. Everything from the quiet country location with the mini cows nearby and the star filled skies at night we enjoyed every moment here. It was clean and had all the amenities needed for a weekend stay. We would definitely recommend and return to this property. ~ Jay & Danni

Great place out of town and quiet, but only 5 minutes away from the action. Bluebonnets and wildflowers everywhere. New baby calf next door, goats and sheep as neighbors. House was set up well and the fireplace was a nice treat at the end of the day. Thanks again for sharing!

Loved the property. Very quaint. The inside was super cute and clean. We spent most of our time at the outdoor fireplace and moved to the indoor fireplace when it got a little too cold outside. We had a very peaceful, relaxing time.

Very Nice Cabin Retreat!
Really nice place that is situated in the perfect location for anyone not wanting to stay in town but still be close. Very peaceful and offers more amenities than most rentals. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The property managers were very curteous and personable as well. We definitely enjoyed everything about the home and plan to return our next trip.

Rustic, Private, Relaxing, and Awesome!
This property is a true gem! This late 1800s log home is small, but the use of space is amazing. The kitchen has everything you need, and the living room is rustic and cozy with a beautiful fireplace. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, and there's still a half bath downstairs in this little place. The best part is were it is located. It is on a 6 acre lot with a few miniature cows that graze around the home on the property. There is a stone fireplace in the garden to warm up the evenings, and when the sun went down and the stars were out, hanging out in the hot tub was THE BEST. Our only issue was that due to previous guests, the hot tub had to be drained, refilled and chemicals checked. This meant that the temp was not ready for our first night. We were a little bummed, but it was back up to temp for night 2 and 3. People... this is not your house, and other people will be following you, so be respectful and take care of things. Come on!!! The home was out in the country, but also close to town. It was quiet, relaxing, charming, etc. Also, the sheets were extremely soft. I will totally stay here again... I just hope the people that stay before us are respectful. Anyway... thanks to the owners and management company for creating a truly amazing get-away!

Sweet little cabin!!!
We absolutely loved this property. We stayed for 4 nights. It is a very quiet country house. No car noises, no barking dogs, no people! Although we felt remote, it was a short drive to downtown Fredricksburg. The cabin itself is surrounded by one pen with 3 amazing bulls that are absolute lawn mowing machines. Further to the back, not on the property were some white horses. Every night in the evening the deer were abundant all over the property. Be sure to bring binoculars for viewing if you’re interested. The cabin itself is super comfy cozy and inviting. We had the a/c on when we arrived…a cold front came through so we switched to heat. Both functioned perfectly. We also utilized the indoor fireplace which was great while hanging out in the living rooms. Linens were clean and abundant. Coffee pot is a keurig that utilizes pods which they provided. Kitchen ware and appliances were plentiful. We cooked breakfast every morning. Theres a great HEB in town with everything you need to cook. We packed lunches for day hikes at Enchanted Rock and Pedernales Falls (both encourage reserving day passes) which we did via a quick phone call. We used the hot tub every night, fabulous for sore muscles after hiking. All in all, if there were 10 stars to give, i would! Do yourself a favor and book this place for your trip!

Beautiful cabin - can't wait to come back!
Outstanding experience at Weinland Haus. From the easy checkin (via email) to the fantastic cabin on beautiful, quiet grounds. Could not ask for more. We are going to schedule another visit in the Spring. Can't wait. Only a few little things that need to be addressed (minor - but I am sure you would want to know). Ice makers on the fridge did not work - even though they were turned on. Light bulbs missing or burned out in several lamps, fixtures, etc. The old fashion bulbs in the living area and the kitchen are quaint but really do not provide adequate light - suggest LEDS. Finally, could not get ESPN or a few other ("premium") channels. Just mentioning these items to get as close to perfect as you can make a cabin. Thanks again. We look forward to a return visit.

Nice property & convenient
Great location within a block of the main street shops, wine/beer tasting and restaurants. Property is will maintained. We stayed in Suite Bliss. Very nice and cozy room. King size bed was wonderful. This is more like a bed/breakfast without the breakfast in that it is a turn-of-the-century home that has been remodeled for guest. Don’t expect the amenities of a full service hotel. Our room had the basic accommodations — iron, ironing board, microwaye, fridge, etc. Other than that you are on your one. There is no daily room service, but plenty of get your own extra towels, etc. We had a garden tub. We didn’t use the hot tub only because the air temperature was too cold (in the 30s), but we inspected and it was clean and hot and ready to go. Common area is a cozy gathering room and full service kitchen. I was curious to know if we could have cooked had we wanted (with all the wonderful restuarants in this town, not sure why we would have wanted to). DIY coffee service. Parking is spacious. Check-in — Not at the room location and is NOT in walking distance (our mistake). But, was quick and easy. You get a packet that is easy to read and understand. Downers — Outside locks are controlled with a push-button system that did not appear to be functioning when we left (it worked when we got there). Other outside locks worked. Room door security is not that great (a simple bathroom key lock system and chain). I wish the hot tub area had a privacy fence — it is basically open for public viewing from the street. Garden tub jets didn’t work. Pricing — a little pricey for the over-all experience. But it didn’t scare me away. Had I been looking for more than a weekend, definitely not. Would I stay here again? Yes because of the location and bed and quaintness of the room. This is definitely something different.

Beautiful, but a few issues.
Suite Bliss was beautiful, but we were met with a strong "old" odor upon entering the room. Next issue was the hot tub outside... we tried numerous times to use it, we would turn it on & set the temp to 101 as per instructions, but when we would get back to the Inn it would either be turned off again or still very cold. So we decided to try the jacuzzi tub in our room. We filled the tub with water & had to press the button several times before it actually came on, then it smelled like something could possibly be burning so we turned it off. The hot tub & jacuzzi were BIG reasons we chose Suite Bliss at Inn on the Creek for our anniversary and we were very disappointed in not being able to use either one. Biggest issue were the biting bugs/fleas in the room. Numerous times my husband found small black bugs biting him on his legs/feet. I do have a few pictures of the bugs if you would like to see them.

Meh. Will probably look for a different property next time.
Bed wasn’t that comfortable. WiFi was horrible. Too much light in the room. Woken up by a crying child, in a no-kid property. On the plus side, it is a nice place and convenient to Main Street.
