Great view, hot tub, bubble tub, rainhead shower

Among the Texas Stars is a great little cabin located just a few miles from Fredericksburg and right in the heart of many of the Hill Country Wineries. Although private this little cabin is located just across the road from Among the Crepe Myrtles and a short walk to Among the Pecans. With all three properties a group of 18 people could stay on the whole property see our website for further details on the other listings. Over 300 acres surround the house, making it great for walking and enjoying nature. Being a working ranch guests will see horses and cattle during a stay.

This Texas Hill Country cottage has been created as a romantic getaway for two. A queen bed is the focal point in this one room cabin. The bathroom offers a bubble tub with rainhead shower. Plus there is a fully equipped kitchen with table and seating for four. The sofa is placed to enjoy the satellite television. Outside is a private deck with hot tub. There is also a fire circle and charcoal barbeque grill. The relaxing covered porch is great for watching the deer, cows and horses. Guests are welcome to walk down to the river for fishing (bring your own equipment). Your hosts have several activities available on the property including ping pong, Frisbee golf, and nature trails.

We enjoyed our stay. The bed is comfortable. The location is relaxing and there were sweet cats that we got to enjoy. The baked goods were so good and it was nice that the owner put milk, juice, eggs etc in the fridge for us. We'd stay there again.

The ranch is spacious and serene, but also conveniently close to Fredericksburg's Main Street (15 min drive). Really enjoyed walking down the dirt road to the river. We loved our stay!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!
My husband and I spend our parent get away weekend here. It was perfect for us! 10 minutes from Main st shopping area in Fredericksburg and great restaurants. It was the perfect location to feel like you're away from it all, but still close to things when you want to get up and go somewhere! We will definitely be back here in the future!!!!

Perfect Quiet Cabin
This property was out from town but not too far. We Loved the peace n quiet of nature along with the farm surroundings of cows, horses and the occasional jackrabbit or armadillo. The country feel inside was just as charming. Hot tub under the stars at night was the perfect finishing touch. We would happily book this again!

A hidden gem in the hill country.
By far our best hill country stay yet. The nicely furnished and extremely clean cabin is situated on a beautiful piece of property just outside of Fredericksburg. Loved the baked goods and homemade grape jelly the owners left for our stay. The view of the star-lit sky from the hot tub was amazing. Be sure to take a quick drive (or a bit of a walk) down to the river to cool off and enjoy the view. We will definitely book this location again.

Quaint and cozy cabin!
My husband and I enjoyed the O’Brien casserole, biscuits and cinnamon roll left by Monica. Very yummy! It really is the perfect place to stay out of the way and enjoy nature. We enjoyed the animals around the ranch. It was very relaxing plus we were able to cook our own meals. The hot tub was perfect! Our dogs loved running around and getting to know the cats and cattle.

Very Private and Peaceful
We stayed here for Valentines day (our anniversary) and adsolutely loved it! The little house is so nicely appointed with everything you need plus those amazing little touches that our host seems to be known for. The bed and linens were top quality, and the home-made pastries were an especially nice touch. There were people staying in the other house nearby, but the set up is so cleverly done that you never see them! We really appreciated the privacy and the extreme quiet.

Relaxing!!
We had a wonderful experience for our 10 year anniversary. We loved the baked treats that were homemade, the fire pit was relaxing and checking out all the stars from the hot tub. So close to town still and right in the middle of all the wineries. We climbed Enchanted rock, checked out LBJ's place and visited downtown Fredericksburg. We look forward to coming back and renting both houses with the family.
