God's Country Cabins- Mercy I Close to Town

Come, sit, and relax on the porch of one of our newly built cabins. Take in the fresh air and enjoy the countryside views, wildlife, farm animals, and breathtaking sunsets. Our four cabins, Faith, Hope, Mercy, and Grace, each feature their own rustic/elegant style and charm. All the cabins sleep two on a king sized bed with luxurious sheets and bedding, while the bathrooms each feature a large shower and copper sink.

The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and microwave oven along with a full size coffee maker with teas and other goodies.

We have a beautiful gazebo outside in the common area with a charcoal grill and a large table to gather around and enjoy the country life. Don't forget to bring charcoal and something to grill!

Our cabin, Hope, has an outdoor shower to enjoy along with a private deck with lounge chairs in the back to sit and relax. The stars are amazing at night from this deck view. THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR HOPE GUESTS!

We are out in the country but only 6 miles from Fredericksburg where you can walk down Main Street, shop, eat wonderful food, check out the wineries, or even learn a bit of history at the Admiral Nimitz museum. Marktplatz on Main St. is where most of Fredericksburg's sought-after events take place.

We had a great time at the property. Very clean and easy access. Check-in was ok, it would be more convenient if we didn't have to go to an office to pick up the key. Other properties we have rented had a lock box on property. The property it self was awesome, quiet and very clean. The common area was great with the grill, table and chairs. We will be back.

Beautiful country cabins
Wonderful cabins, we enjoyed the quiet so much. We loved waking up to the cattle in the mornings and watching the deer in the evenings. We loved it so much we decided to find a weekend all the cabins are available and make it a girls weekend with our girlfriends. I’ve stayed at many vrbos throughout Fredericksburg, and this was a beautiful place and I we will be back!

Booked this Cabin for my 10 year anniversary and it did not disappoint! Cabin was easy to find and extremely quiet and relaxing. If you like to be away from town but still close, would highly recommend staying here your next trip to Fredericksburg!

Lovely drive to the property which is not too far from town. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. No Wi-Fi but that wasn’t an issue for us. I can imagine that Spring is a perfect time to visit.

My wife and I had a great relaxing weekend away enjoying Fredericksburg. We love the location and enjoy watching the deer while we have our morning coffee out on the porch. This wasn’t the first time we stayed with God’s Country Cabins and it surely won’t be our last!

It really is God's country
The property was immaculate. No issues finding it or staying there. The owners feed the deer, so they are around a lot and it is quite nice to see them. The area is remote and quiet. A great place to unplug. No doubt we will be back.

Our stay at Gods Country Cabins could have been better. They were very clean and nice kept. Had coffee and coffee filters along with cream and sugar for us every morning which was nice not having to worry about buying that when we arrived. Wonderful Stay - Perfect!
My wife and I spent 3 wonderful evenings at God's Country Cabins outside of Fredericksburg. When we first pulled up to the gate my wife mentioned that she already loved it, and by the time we made the short trip to our cabin we were already planning our next trip up there before we even stepped into the cabin. We didn't want to leave and almost called the owners to see if we could stay another night. When we entered the cabin, there were snacks and treats waiting for us and to our surprise the owners, Mike and Linda, had left a birthday present for my wife and I. We would highly, very highly, recommend any couple wanting to get away for a few days or longer to look into staying here. It is so quiet and peaceful, the Cabins are spotless and well kept. The stars at night are amazing! We were not disappointed at all and are looking forward to our next trip back. Thank you Mike and Linda for making these Cabins available and for the wonderful hospitality!
