"Hotel is great, excellent value, but all around the area is ' under development' so there is noise ( Monday morning @ 0630) and boarding up and some graffiti. I think once its all done it will be great, I was there on business but if it was a couple / family not so great. That said, I think the ' feel ' of the bar , the staff etc may make it worth a try. "Staying here was a lovely experience. Fantastic location. Great, friendly service from all staff. Enjoyable bar food. Huge choice of drinks. Wonderful continental breakfast which included fresh fruit & exotic yoghurts, continental cold meats, cheese, cereals, choice of breads & selection of pastries. Really comfortable bed & pillows in attractive bedroom with great views from those in the front of the hotel. Only disappointment was having to pay £12.50 per day for parking.
