"Lovely spacious villa with plenty of room for 10-12 people, and lots of dining and sitting space inside, and outdoor space. It was very warm during our stay, and as the villa doesn't have air conditioning it did get warm inside. Some more fans would be useful, as opening windows does increase outside noise. "The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We were 8 adults two children and one small dog in total. While on the ground floor the common area suited the group well, everyone couple/family had its own room and space upstairs. The garden is great and has an awesome view to a small vineyard and corn plantation. As the house is fenced, the dog and the children could freely play without further concerns. "We had a wonderful time at Margarida’s place-she’s truly thought of everything! We were a group of 10 family members including a baby, 6 year old and 11 and 14 year old. We all felt we had our own privacy and there were lots of places to eat and chill out around the property. The photos do not do this place justice! Margarida was a wonderful host and was on hand on the phone if we needed her but allowed us our privacy at the same time. We would love to return!"

"We had a lovely time staying in this villa. The location is peaceful and quiet. Having a car is recommended to get about to places like Guimareas or Braga and the pool could be much deeper but other than that, we had an amazing experience! The host has superb communication and will help with whatever issues that may occur. The wine from their vineyard (Rosé and White) is very nice. I highly recommend."

Leider war das Apartment an vielen Stellen mit schwarzem Schimmel belastet, was man auch riechen konnte. Diese Situation ist umso ärgerlicher, da wir vor Reisebeginn gezielt nach möglichem Schimmelbefall gefragt hatten, was von der Agentur verneint wurde. "

"Great property exactly as described, and the setting and views were just the best! The local town 20 mins drive on the river is Amarante and it stole our hearts. The drive straight down the mountain to a slightly closer town Celorico de Basto is not for the faint hearted, and was not repeated. The TV was in French which was a bonus as we don't speak Portugese. The host was very accommodating of our very late arrival at 11pm due to flight issues and responded to all messages immediately.A great...

"We stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful old house, view of water below was so lovely. Enjoyed the pool but it was a little late in the year so it was just a little cold for us at our age. We still did get into it twice. Kitchen had all the pots and utensils we needed. We would love to stay here again when in Portugal."
