Come experience "Mini Niagara Falls" where the rushing rivers and waterfalls will mesmerize and soothe you both day and night! This spectacular setting backs up to the Nantahala National Forest in the Great Smoky Mountains. The home is located at the convergence of 2 rushing rivers with no neighbors in sight and plenty of places to explore or just sit back and enjoy the scenery. There is a lovely nature trail alongside the river with prime spots for picnics, hiking, and of course swimming in the crisp mountain water if you dare! Hammocks, swings and benches dot the property to provide a variety of vantage spots to soak in the surroundings.
The 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit is located on the lower level of the home where the owner resides upstairs. Guests have their own exterior entrance and no access to the home upstairs. The guest space is an efficiency style with a fully equipped kitchenette, a new queen size bed, full bathroom with shower, sitting area and large porch overlooking the river.

A home away from home
This place is absolutely stunning. The sound of water from the mini water falls is very calming. The forest that is practically just a few steps from where we stayed is so beautiful while birds singing in the morning is invigorating. Ms. Peggy is a wonderful hostess and made sure that our stay is memorable. The place is simple, it has the basic necessities that you need, just bring personal toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo. The rest is provided by the host. We found that Food Lion grocery store have good selection and price point is reasonable while Ingles is a little bit pricey but is nearer. Ms. Peggy provides plenty of knowledge around the area and she will direct you to good places that you can go around. So many outdoor activities that you can do and you can start at your very own doorstep, the property is adjacent to the national Forest and we saw a hiking trail that starts after crossing the bridge from her property going into the forest. For those who cannot detach themselves from the internet, there is a WiFi available. If you wanted to get full bar, you need to step out into the porch. For those who are looking for an excuse to have your cellphone unreachable, this is perfect. My husband and I both have Verizon and T-Mobile and we barely get any signal which is exactly the best way to disconnect from the world. We will definitely be back next year and we hope that Ms. Peggy’s place is still going to be available for many more years.

Serenity at its best!!!
Quiet, calm, peaceful! if you are looking for that, this is the place for you! Peggy has everything you need for your stay!!! The apartment is on the first level overlooking the creek and is very private! We had a great time and our fur babies loved that they could cross the bridge and go free.

Great place !!!
My wife and I were looking for a rustic off the beaten track place that was close to everything. We were not disappointed, Mrs Peggy was a superb host. The minute we got there and unloaded we sat on the porch and enjoyed the sounds of the water. We swam and sat in the mountain stream and recharged. Its close to town and stores. We spent the week whitewater rafting, boating on the lake ,sightseeing, hiking and relaxing by the falls unhooked from society. We could not have found a better person or place to stay. Thank you Miss Peggy for your hospitality and we will be back soon. Love You Brad and Ann.

No cell service. Studio had so much stuff in it you couldn't turn around. Fake flowers and plants everywhere. We stayed one night then left for a hotel in Franklin. NO CELL SERVICE.

Wonderful retreat
Peggy has such a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Her nature paths allow new spaces to meditate and breathe in nature all over the property. Very secluded and just what I needed. Thank you for a wonderful visit Peggy.

Very neat location and dog friendly.
I took my 2 small dogs and we hiked the trail twice a day that was across the bridge. Although it was a cold time outside it was worth the bundling up for. Miss Peggy provided everything you could think of but your food, so it was perfect for me. Hearing the river none stop was so relaxing and I plan to stay there again.

This was just what we were looking for as an anniversary getaway! The scenery is so beautiful right from the porch. The sound of rushing water is audible everywhere and very relaxing. It was the most peaceful and beautiful place we have stayed for our wedding and honeymoon, loved the little Niagara falls next to our room.
