This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on Taunton Bay is a great halfway point between Acadia National Park's Bar Harbor and Schoodic Point. With just a 40 min drive to Bar Harbor, you can explore all day then return to relax in this spacious and serene space. There is a full kitchen and washer/dryer for your convenience. The main living space has amazing taxidermy of deer and a moose. This home has a great deck for relaxing and enjoying the waterfront views of Taunton Bay with its beautiful sunsets. There is a large yard with waterfront access to the the rocky coastline where you can enjoy swimming and shore exploring.

Fall vacation
The Maine Bay house was wonderful. It was clean and had all the space we needed for our group of 4. There was everything thing that you need for preparing meals in the kitchen. The relaxing views and quietness of the location was just what we were looking for. It is an easy drive to Acadia National Park and BarHarbor for shopping and dining. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful scenery in a peaceful and serene setting on Taunton Bay. Great location for the areas we chose explore during our visit. There were 4 adults and the house was very comfortable and spacious.

Great House, Secluded Waterfront Location
Beth, thanks so much for letting us share your little piece of paradise for a few days. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Although the distance to the park is a bit far, it took no time at all and the trip the Schoodic side was very convenient. I would recommend your place to anyone wanting a quiet home base with access to everything.

Beautiful home on Taunton Bay. Perfect in between point for Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor and Schoodic Point. Great family time playing games around the big kitchen table.

Such an amazing house and property. There is a house that is close and shares the driveway which was confusing on arrival. Overall i would definitely stay again

Quite and peaceful
This was a very comfortable home. Nice and clean. Beautiful view. Beds were comfy and place was very clean. Beth was very easy to communicate with. There is a home next to the property. Never ran into anyone and it was peaceful. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to get out and away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor.
