Quiet peaceful park like setting, with rocking and eating covered porch.
we are 15 min. to Franklin 35 Min to Highlands. Tessentee Farm Wedding Venue is 1/4 mile, as is the Bartram Trail Head.

We are surrounded by numerus hiking trails, water falls, and magnificent views.
Other attractions include two local brewery's, gem mines the Greenway River Walk, many lakes, white water rafting, and family zip line.

Loved Our Visit In Franklin
Our stay at The Guest Cottage, was fabulous! The Cottage is absolutely adorable, spotless, comfortable and the setting could not be better! Franklin is a charming area, convenient to many places we wanted to visit. The owners of the Cottage are extremely hospitable and welcoming! We will definitely stay here again when in this area!

Cozy wonderful extremely nice place!
Sam, Mike are the perfect hosts. They make sure you have everything you need for a great weekend! Their golden doodle, Tucker makes sure you have entertainment. This was our third stay and we will be back. Would love to stay much longer if we could afford it❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful cottage in lovely mountain setting
The Guest House is a gem. It is so cozy, clean, well stocked kitchen, and beautifully decorated. It’s hard to leave the front porch. Sam, Mike and Tucker are wonderful hosts. Thank you for the delicious blueberry muffins and wine. Look forward to returning in the spring!

Outstanding Property
This is the second time for my wife and I stayed at the "Quest House". The reasons we came back is the first visit provided us with a super relaxing visit. The Guest House is located in a scenic quiet setting in the mountains of Franklin NC that provided us an opportunity to relax & unwind. Owners Mike and Sam are gracious hosts that can't seem to do enough for their guests. Unfortunately, the scale only 5 Stars because we give it a 10+. House was very clean and well stocked with all you would need for a great stay. Highly - Highly recommend!!

Fantastic stay!
Our hosts Sam and Mike provided comfortable accommodations making sure every detail was covered. Leaving the lights on for our late arrival, bottle of wine with fresh flowers and homemade pound cake welcoming us on kitchen counter, luxury sheets and towels, and peaceful surroundings enjoyed on the front porch rockers and hillside swing made for a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend away from the city hustle. We have already booked our next stay!

A Great Anniversary Trip!
We had a great time. The property was beautiful and as described. Sam and Mike were attentive and anticipated every need. The cabin was well-furnished and very comfortable. Close to lots of waterfalls and cool towns of Franklin, Cashiers and Highlands. Definitely want to come again!

Perfection!
I stayed 4 nights with my parents and my dog. We had a wonderful time. The house is cozy and the property is amazing. We had everything we needed. It’s close to town and to visiting other towns like Highlands and Cashiers. We really enjoyed meeting Sam, Mike and of course Tucker. Hope to visit again next year!

Quiet and Cozy
This was the perfect spot for us. We loved the location, as it gave us many opportunities to hike and explore. The cabin was beyond our expectations. It had everything we needed, and felt cozy and warm. We will plan another stay the next time we visit NC . Thank you!!!

Charming Cottage
We are VRBO traveling enthusiast and couldn't have been more satsified and pleased with our stay at the guesthouse. Sweet Paradise

Serene setting!
If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is your place! The guest house is very comfortable and everything was just as listed in description. My favorite was the front porch! Owners checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, which we appreciated. Even had goodies waiting for us upon our arrival! Surrounding towns are close by for restaurants or browsing. Definitely will visit again !

Amazing place! A must stay!
If you are anywhere REMOTELY near Franklin you must stay at this wonderful cottage! I can not recommend it enough! Everything you could possibly want or expect was there. Sam and Mike were the most gracious hosts. A truly beautiful area complete with the occasional deer and flock of turkeys! Not only beautiful in scenery but comfortable! From the beds to the sofa to the outdoor fire pit! If you don't stay here, you've missed out!

Our New Favorite
This is by far the best VRBO stay my husband and I have ever experienced. The hosts, Mike & Sam, went above and beyond and even greeted us upon our arrival to see if we had any questions. The cabin is beautiful, well-maintained, and nestled alongside a serene creek. When we walked into cabin, there was a handwritten note, brownies, and a bottle of wine. The property was fully equipped with anything we could have needed or wanted for our stay, and immaculately clean. 10/10. The property is desirably located between Franklin and Highlands, and is nearby to numerous hiking spots, grocery stores, etc. We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

If you need to get away from the hustle x bustle, this is the place!!! Rental was spotless. Sam and Mike were amazing hosts! Loved our daily visit from their dog Tucker. Can't forget their cat Missy. Sweet as can be. We will definately be back!

Cottage in Tessentee
This was absolutely one of the most beautiful properties that we have ever experienced. A serene setting with a babbling brook within steps of the Bartram Trail. Mike, Sam (and Tucker) were fabulous hosts and thought of every detail, including fresh flowers, a loaded fire pit and a hammock. Such positive energy we experienced and we hope to visit again soon.
