1660 Guest House; Waterfall, Creek, Large Deck, Fire Ring

Close to town with country feel. Great Wi-Fi and cell service. Smart Roku TV’s with HDMI cables. Streaming is available using your own account.
Enter the warm, inviting living room with knotty pine walls and white oak floors which has plenty of seating to enjoy the big screen tv.
The dining room has seating for 6 and leads out to a large deck with a gas grill; deck overlooks the waterfall and creek that runs through the expansive meadow. Enjoy the fire pit in the evening while stargazing and listening to the sound of frogs as you sit by the creek.
The spacious kitchen with eat-in breakfast bar has all the amenities (listed) you will need for your stay. A window wall looks out to the deck and meadow. There are gliding windows for a pass through to the outdoor dining table.
The vaulted master bedroom (king bed) has a private full bath with separate shower and a jacuzzi tub. It is attached by double garden doors that open into a sunroom which connects to the dining deck. It also has seating with a big screen tv and window seat.
A guest room (queen bed) on the main level is adjacent to a full bath & shower (deep soaking tub).
The upstairs guest room (double bed) has windows with an elevated view and sound of the waterfall.
Private studio apartment across deck above garage(queen bed) with bath and shower. Space includes a sink, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and bistro table for two.

Holiday together
Our Adult family members all got together to celebrate Christmas together a little late. The kitchen itself is amazing and we had a good time cooking together. The bedrooms were set up so that we each had nice private areas, but also large gathering spaces. We really enjoyed our time together!

Wonderful New Year's Getaway❤️
We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was a dream to prepare meals and we enjoyed the variety of space on the property. It rained a lot while there so we were unable to really enjoy the outside but took advantage of the game cabinet. Communication was excellent and location was perfect. We hope to stay again.

This was our second visit and hope to return. Spring was in bloom and the property had the most amazing outdoor spaces. Dogwoods in bloom and birds singing . Just beautiful.

Fall Colors Bursting
This is our 3rd visit to this beautiful home and property. It is surrounded by beautiful trees that were in full color. The home is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. The property is just breathtaking with several outdoor spaces to enjoy. I hope we are able to visit again.

Great Mother’s Day
Our stay at this location could not have been more perfect. The house was very comfortable. We celebrated our 98 year old mother who was in a wheelchair. We had no problems navigating her around the area. There is also a very spacious, comfortable studio. The deck on the back side of the house was big enough for all our family to sit and visit. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. I would recommend this house for an enjoyable vacation.

The house was easy to get to and close to lots of great places. Very spacious master bedroom. Kitchen was immaculate and had anything we needed and then some. The property was well maintained and we enjoyed the back yard with the little brook running through it. Wish we had more time to spend here.

Debe was such a wonderful host and the property was absolutely beautiful. Communication was crystal clear and instructions were easy to follow. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is located beautifully in regards to everything in and out of town. I couldn’t recommend this rental more! We definitely want to stay again!

Wonderful place to stay
We spent four nights at this VRBO which is very convenient to downtown Franklin. We had six adults, an aunt and two nieces plus husbands. These owners really know how to run a VRBO. Spacious home with a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect for 6 people (plus another bed). Checking in and out were both very simple. These owners have thought of everything you might want and have provided it. Highly recommend that you spend some time at this VRBO. Couples were from Hickory, NC, Concord, NC & N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

Franklin’s Gem
Our visit to 1660 was everything we needed and more. The home was meticulously cared for and perfect for our family. My parents enjoyed having their own space in the studio. Both the kids loved the basketball, volleyball and corn hole. The location of this home is very close to downtown Franklin while also close to trails and other adventurous activities. The hosts of this home are extremely responsive, informative and accommodating! Could not speak higher of them! Thank you for a lovely NC mountain getaway!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Franklin NC, look no further. This home is absolutely stunning. Beautiful outdoor area for the entire family. Fully stocked kitchen with absolutely everything you need. Everything has been meticulously labeled for you so it’s easy to find things. The kitchen has two sinks and so much space for two or more people to hang out in the kitchen. The kitchen has some seating so you can eat there or eat in the dining room. The home also has a wrap around deck that makes spending time outdoors fabulous. The view is absolutely stunning. There is so much to do too. Want to roast sole marshmallows? This house has you covered with outdoor seating and a place to start a fire. I could literally go on and on about this house and the gorgeous property. My family had an absolutely blast at this house. Extremely and meticulously kept and clean. This is the best home I have ever stayed in and it will definitely my go to whenever we come back to Franklin. To Trevor and Debe. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Your home is absolutely stunning.

Franklin Girl’s Trip
We enjoyed our stay in Franklin. The house was easily located to all the attractions and Franklin. The home was comfortable and clean with beautiful decks to enjoy. I think I saw a ground hog! Debe was readily available by text to answer any questions and attraction suggestions. I highly recommend this listing.
