Peaceful break
Great remote and peaceful location. Advice re lack of Optus coverage was accurate, but purchase of Telstra pre-paid worked - just! Hope to return with my family one day.

Relaxing country getaway
My hubby and I had a great time at the Frankland River Retreat. We love that it is pet friendly and brought our dog Roo with us. She had a ball sniffing all the exciting new smells and running at full speed across the paddocks. Being a giant breed pooch there aren't many places she can do that! The house yard was secure and fenced well enough to keep a large breed in. She also paddled in the river which she doesn't normally like. We enjoyed kicking back on the verandah in the afternoons when the breeze kicked in with a glass of wine and cheeseboard and taking in the stars at night when we could. I loved the no internet/phone factor as I use my phone for work.......it made it easy to relax because I was completely uncontactable although it made it a little harder when planning a day trip further afield. I'd suggest planning ahead if you want to go somewhere a bit off the beaten track. The table tennis was fun too and we usually wound down watching some telly in the evening.

Spacious, comfortable and quaint
A pretty farm cottage which has been renovated to include lots of modern conveniences. It sits in a very pretty position with a lovely east-facing eating area (morning sun). The fire makes the house very warm at night and there are plentiful spaces for people to sit and relax.
