The house is beautiful and very spacious and the garden and pool were great in the hot, sunny weather we were lucky to have. The house is set in lovely countryside with lots of walks and fresh bread and groceries just a short walk through the vineyards in Douelle. Would definitely recommend!"

"What a great stay! The house and setting were beautiful, the pool was an absolute delight, the river was close by and deliciously cooling and everything was high quality, worked well and had been thoroughly thought through. Highly recommended. The only thing that could have improved it would be air conditioning in all the bedrooms rather than just the largest. All round though it was superb."

"Le jardinier nous a laissé les cles , ne connaissait pas la maison , n'avait pas le code pour la WIfi . Pour la sortie nous étions prets à 9h00 avons envoyé des messages à la femme de ménage sans réponse et au jardinier qui nous a répondu à 10h que l'on pouvait partir en laissant les clés dans la boite à clé il n'était pas au courant de notre départ ! There is also so much to do in the surrounding area. Cahors is only a 30 minute drive and there are plenty of villages, towns and chateau nearby. Everything you could wish for. We were sad to leave."

"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets.
