The house is a wonderful starting point for trekking and hiking tours along the Alcantara river and through the Parco Fluviale dell"Alcantara nature reserve. Nevertheless, it is better to take one of the off-road buses through the breathtaking lava landscape instead of exploring the area on your own. There is also a cable car at the Etna-Sud station and some Chairlifts Hikes to the summit are accompanied by specially trained mountain guidesMobility : Not suitable for people with reduced mobility
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Only small dogs allowed (up to 35 cm shoulder height). (Youth) groups not allowed.
