Pleasant Hotel
Arrived late at night, so didn't have time to experience the restaurant and bar facilities.
About a 20 minute walk away from most of the bars and restaurants, but a small, friendly and comfortable hotel. Next to the railway line which was noisy if we had the window open at night, but don't let this put you off as with the window closed you hardly noticed it. We stayed out of season so many places were shut for the winter but I imagine in the summer months it would be very busy. Very limited parking behind the hotel, only room for about 4 small cars so check there will be room when you book.
Unfortunately for "Americans" the staff had a horrible language barrier, no one spoke a lick of English! The hotel itself was in a great location bus stops closer to the beach 1,2, or 38 take you to the train station you could catch the 8 to the airport cost roughly €1. You can take a train or bus to the larger cities for a small fee. Nothing is open on Monday and the kitchen/lounge of the hotel went even open during our stay. The staff did their best to assist us with getting food however, I suggest you get items prior to reaching this hotel. The breakfast was made up of pastries, cheese and ham. Coffee was extra! I really wish they would make some modifications to better serve their patrons.
This hotel is done in the grand tradition of large airey rooms, large comfortable bed and spectacular windows look out at the train station. The people who run it are extremely pleasant and helpful and well informed regarding what to do and where to eat. We had one of the best meals of our trip, based on the hotel peoples' recommendation. Outstanding stay.
We stayed in this hotel one night on our way to South Italy and we were made welcome by the hotel staff. They helped us with our luggage all the way to the top floor (by lift of course). The room was really nice. A small downside is that you can hear the trains going past once in a while. Nothing majour to put us off though.
Soggiorno pulito, comodo e accogliente.
Hotel a 2 stelle migliore colazione... Evitate di andare amanti del buon risveglio!!! Pessimo sotto il punto di vista colazione...
The hotel is right next to some train tracks, but you can almost not hear them. The building is very nice and rooms are clean. They are on the small side, but really nice (especially for the price). We left early in the morning (04:00) to catch a flight, but the front desk staff still offered us coffee.
The only negative is the address listed here.. it is NOT the right one and it took us 1 hour to find the place.
