"Self check-in was seamless, free self public parking (3 mins walk) was very convenient and the location is in walking distance of all bars, restaurants and shops. Its location is above an Irish bar, so music and patrons can be heard until closing around 12:30pm but we only stayed one night (Friday) so it was expected but didn’t ruin our stay at all. Friendly staff and definitely recommend for a short stay."

"Accommodations were a good size for the cost. The arrangement of the toilet outside of the actual room was a little funky but that's okay. Natalie was the only one we had contact with was not well suited for dealing with people. When are traveling companion was injured on a step in the hotel Natalie was more concerned about telling her that she should have let her know that she was not going to dinner at the restaurant that Natalie made a reservation for her. "This is a renovated old building with eclectic decorations. The hotel was updated, but it almost felt like a 19th century guest house. The breakfast was delicious, and the courtyard where it was offered was wonderful. You can use it at other times to sit in the open air if you choose. There is a bus stop less than 5 minutes away, making it very easy to maneuver with public transportation. "This is a wonderful property convenient to everything. Mathieu is the best host we have ever had, making reservations and recommendations, delivering a fantastic breakfast daily, arranging for laundry service and assisting with the car park. "What can I say... The location was fabulous, the accommodation was wonderful and most of all Valere was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful! He has paid so much attention to detail which results in his guests having the perfect stay. "L'endroit est superbe et très bien entretenu. Martine et Thierry sont des hôtes charmants et au petit soin pour leur pensionnaires. La piscine est très agréable et le spa privatif un vrai plus. Mention particulière pour la planche de charcuterie et fromages ainsi que le petit déjeuner très copieux (la confiture d'orange/citron est un vrai régal 😋) ! Que de bons produits issus de leur propre potager ou des environs proches. L'endroit est très intimiste et d'un calme absolu, c'est très reposant....

"A truly beautiful place with beautiful hosts. Amazingly well and newly refubished Maison with beautiful rooms. Pierrick and Filipe are super welcoming and wonderful hosts. They helped guide us around the many Arts Exhibitions in Arles, booked us a wonderful restaurant. Not to forget the beautiful breakfast. If you are heading to Arles to enjoy and experience some photography, art or ancient ruins, enhance your experience by staying at Hotel de L'Anglais. It really made our stay. "

The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."

"This hotel has an amazing position. On the square of central Nimes. Window overlooking the beautiful fountain. Close to bus and trains. Parking is in the street paid but there is an option for €17 to park underground but this goes from 3 pm to 3 pm. The reception are extremely helpful. 1 elevator for 3 floors. Rooms are a large size with kitchenette. The bed in our room was a bit tired but still comfortable. Rooms are very clean and quiet at night. Tips for other travelers - there is no toaster...
