"The location of this property was charming and full of character. The view from the windows was beautiful and it was clean. Bergen was the first stop of our Norway vacation. On Top of the City was perfect for our family of 4. The host, Jonas, was responsive and answered my questions promptly. The property is on the 3rd floor so there is a spiral staircase, no elevator. "Although, on checking in, we had a WIFI issue this was efficiently remedied for which we were immensely grateful. The property was clean, beds comfortable and kit chen well equipped with heated floors in bathroom and downstairs bedroom. Jonas was a great host and promptly answered any questions we asked. "Great place slightly removed from the noisy city center (~30-minute walk through interesting neighborhoods—we like to walk!—or 14 minutes by easy public transport) with a local neighborhood feel, a pretty river close by, and convenient services (grocery stores, an excellent bakery). "The host was very helpful in guiding us to and inside the property when we arrived late at night (our phones weren’t so helpful and took a while to connect to cell service to read the instructions.) We recommend restarting phones asap upon arrival in Bergen. Conveniently located in a neighborhood close to busses and grocery with all the comforts of home Lovely Pub nearby, Dr Weiseners. Great food and helpful staff ❤️. We hope to come again to Bergen!"

"Easy, convenient stay here! I wish it was indicated that there are 3 locations to this company prior to me being there. Rooms were plenty of space and i appreciated that it had a full kitchen and bathroom, however there was only one window on the roof and I could not open it due to the rain. The room was really stuffy and a bit smelly because there was no circulation. Walls were very thin so I could hear the people across from me as if they were in my room. "Our stay at Opus XVI was delightful! The hotel exudes a warm and welcoming vibe, perfectly located for easy walks to shopping centers, supermarkets, pharmacies, and all the essentials we need. The breakfast was scrumptious and served as a wonderful start to our day. The bathroom amenities were top-notch as well, adding an extra layer of comfort to our experience. I’d like to extend a special thanks to the front desk staff, especially the incredible Martha, who provided us with outstanding assistance and was incredibly kind throughout our visit. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would eagerly return on our next trip to Bergen!"
