Veronica, the most amazing host we have ever met kindly provided transport from La Spezia train station to the Suite. Her adorable son serves as her Porter. "The setting of the hotel is beautiful; however, the hotel is not particularly equipped to deal with international guests. My experience in August was anything but relaxing with screaming Italian children at the beach, unattended and unsupervised by their parents. The restaurant serves the same thing every day (i.e., pasta dishes), and the food is just average. I left two days earlier than scheduled. "Very helpful and nice staff. The bartender gave us lots of info on where to go and everyone was very anxious to please. Parking was a bit challenging but we were given a pass to park on the street. Delicious and varied breakfast. "
