The owner greeted us on our way to the cabin and was even plowing and salting the long driveway. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a very comfortable stay. The house was equipped very well, clean and comfortable beds. The game room was a hit with our 9 and 5 year old! Scenery was gorgeous and fire pit at night was great to see the stars! Would definitely recommend."

"Wife and I were looking for a place away from the hustle that comes with NOVA normally, and especially the weekend of the inauguration. I must say we found the absolute best spot. Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. I absolutely love being able to post up for a weekend in a quiet setting and being able to relax. Even the pup enjoys the quiet and are keen to relax next to the stoves. Most places just leave it up to you to make it up to the property, but the drive way was cleared before our arrival. Most places either require you to bring your own wood, or purchase wood from them, the cabin already had bundles next to the stoves and instructions on where to find more. My wife and I were able to enjoy the entire day of frozen rain and sleet indoors where we just sat around the stove and kept warm. Of course the pantry was fully stocked of coffee to enjoy next to that lite stove. Of course after the warmth and ambiance of the stove, you'll get plenty of rest in the comfortable beds. There is a TV with connections and apps for all your keeping contact with the outside world, so I stayed away from that room. I was there to not hear about what was going on, and that was what I meant to do. I absolutely plan to come back to this cabin, and I'm hoping to bring friends along with me during one or more of those trips.Kalvin"

"We arrived after snow so never got to experience outdoors because it was a cold weekend but the house was great. Lorraine had coffee, tea, hot chocolate, blankets and everything you could need for a warm weekend. House is conveniently located near wintergreen and some wineries and breweries. When we thought there may be a freeze Lorraine came out and salted the driveway and made sure we’d have no issues getting in and out. House is perfectly stocked and styles. Thanks for having us! Can’t wait to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the area more. "

"Property is exactly or better then described. Owners are very attentive to your needs and have thought of everything. Close to Wintergreeen if your plans have you having fun up there. Beds were fantastic. House is so very warm and inviting. If I could give 6 star ratings I would. We always say we want to stay at a property again, but I think we may make this place a priority. "
