Welcome to our lovingly remodeled 1958 home, a charming retreat designed to be your home away from home. One of our favorite discoveries during the renovation was uncovering the original hardwood floors, adding a touch of timeless charm to the space. The open-concept kitchen seamlessly connects to the living room, making it perfect for family gatherings or cozy evenings. Our two bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds, ample storage, and black-out curtains for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom includes a stand-up shower and a Bluetooth speaker for added convenience.
The living area offers a queen sofa sleeper, making it easy to accommodate additional guests, and a SMART TV for your entertainment. We’ve also equipped the home with a washer and dryer for your convenience. Enjoy the outdoors in our fully fenced front and backyard, featuring patio seating for four and charming outdoor party lights, ideal for relaxing evenings.

Please note that guests will not have access to the rear guest house.

Cowtown Honey Hive is situated in a quiet, working-class residential neighborhood within the North Side Historic District. While you can expect some light traffic noise during rush hours, as residents come and go, there may also be sounds during social hours and weekends, especially since we're just a short walk from the Stockyards. Occasionally, you might even hear local bands playing nearby. For light sleepers, we provide earplugs and a sound machine. Our family enjoys evening walks to the Stockyards for ice cream at Melt in Mule Alley or to enjoy live music at Second Rodeo Brewing.
As your hosts, we’re readily available to assist with any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. This rental is owner-operated, and we've enjoyed living here ourselves over the past two years. The streets are well-lit and safe for walking at any hour, and a Ring Doorbell is installed at the front for added security. Please note that the indoor security alarm will be off upon your arrival, and there are no cameras inside the house.
