50th Anniversary Trip
It was our 50th Anniversary trip. Our son and his family came from Riverview, Florida and our daughter and her family came from Guin , Al. We had a wonderful stay at your lovely condo. It was very spacious and very clean. It rained some , but the kids was able to use the heated pool and also play on the beach some. We enjoyed all the restaurants that we visited. The kids enjoyed the track and the arcade’s. I would recommend Unit 217 at Waters Edge to anyone taking a trip to Fort Walton beach. We had a wonderful time. Dawn, you may need to have someone to check the dryer. If took a long time for a load of clothes to dry.

The condo was clean but not 5 stars. The freezer was not clean and tidy, one of the first places i looked when putting away groceries. The outside of the condo hallway snd elevator could have used some extra cleaning. Used bedspreads from.unused beds for extra warmth and throws .

I would highly recommend this condo our family had such a great time the place was perfect we cooked a few nights it had everything we needed the baby chair for the table was a plus the beds are pretty comfortable the only complaint was one of the light in the master bath didn’t work and would flicker the pool was always clean and the ice machine was definitely a great thing I will be back to this place for sure.

Spring break with friends and kids
4 adult couples, 8 year old twins, a 15 year old and a 5 year old. Plenty of room for all. 3 bathrooms was great for privacy. This is oceanfront and was great. The views were wonderful. 2 pools. One was a little warmer then the other but not much difference. Close to restaurants. Quiet complex considering how many units. Would come back again.

Fun family beach trip
My adult kids and grandchildren enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this property. After a long day of sun and fun a good night’s sleep is important - the beds are so comfortable and provided much needed rest. The unit is close to the stairs and elevator so no long walks necessary to get to the pool. The kitchen was equipped to allow us to cook almost every meal during our stay. We look forward to returning next year!

Pros: - Beach is great (clean and close) - Unit was clean overall and represented as stated - Good hot water and pressure - Good HVAC - Good balcony/chairs - Good to have luggage carts available. - Good restaurants close by Cons: - One pillowcase was obviously not washed. - Two bar lights out - Lock is time coded not to let anyone in until exactly 4pm...dont even try. A bit over the top as we waited outside for 15 minutes until the lock would activate - No basic spices (salt, pepper, etc...). Bring tin foil and cooking spray. - Only 2 garbage bags, 2 dish washer tabs and 3 very small tubes of dish soap. - Two rolls of toilet paper per bathrooms not enough for a 5-night stay - Chairs/umbrellas had to be claimed early. While we were there, the "owners' had 90% already reserved. - Elevator takes way too long.

Great Trip!
We loved our stay at Waters Edge. The room was clean and it was just the right size for our group. I am used to Destin/Miramar, so I wasn't used to anything being within walking distance like our previous rentals. We planned well, ate in, and enjoyed the property. My favorite was the smaller crowd on the beach and NO TENTS being set up at 5 a.m. The room says it comes with 2 reserved chairs, but BEWARE! They are first come first serve unless you give the chair boy a heads up and offer a tip! We did this the last day and it was great to not worry about getting down to the beach to reserve your two included chairs.

Typically we always stay at Holiday Surf & Racquet Club but we were searching for a little bit bigger and we found this condo. It was very nice, nice pool, good location with great access to the beach

Great Stay
We loved our stay! This was the perfect location. The condo was immaculate and so spacious! Everything we needed was there. We rented extra chairs and umbrellas on the beach and they were set up for us daily. Plenty of room for three couples and our kids!

The place was beautiful, as well as the view! Everything about this place shouted relaxation and enjoyment. The only thing that was difficult was the Netflix connection was not working. The user name and password were not given in directions, as well as how to connect.

Snowbird paradise
We have stayed in countless VRBOs and this one exceeded all expectations! It was well equipped with all necessary kitchen items and I really appreciated the quality of the cookware since we were there for a month. Loved that hand soap dispensers were provided. The condition of the furniture was outstanding and the beds were super comfortable. The complex was super well maintained and we loved the heated swimming pool. Thanks to the owners for their great attention to details!

Condo was exactly as described! Only 120ft from the beautiful beach and the most stunning sunsets from the balcony! Condo was well equipped for our 1 month stay! Easy access to everything! The January weather was better than expected!

Renter Beware - Roaches (read this review)
It has taken quite a while to write this review because I did not want to be angry or overexaggerate so apologies to those that booked after for me. The property owner will have a reply, please know that every word that I am writing is true. Even after what we experienced we did not ask for a discount or anything. We (my husband and 3 children 23, 20, 16) arrive it was evening and check-in was seamless. When you walk in the property is impressive. As time went on I noticed a bug in the kitchen (wish I could post videos and pictures) and immediately screamed for my husband to come and kill it, and he did. As the night went on we began to see more bugs. I called, per the great binder, the property manager and she specifically said she was going to get someone to come over but then I never heard from her. After I did not hear back for several hours I called and texted and no response, eventually via text I was told that since it was after hours no one could come until tomorrow. My husband went and got roach spray. The next day Dec 29th I got a text the exterminator would be there between 3-4p. The exterminator arrived on time and sprayed and confirmed that it was roaches and that he had been to the property before. He recommended keeping the roaches at bay we leave the lights on. He also stated that when he came last time all of the dishes, silverware, cups, etc. were supposed to be removed and were not so it prevented him from doing a thorough treatment. This was yet another red flag to be that this was an ongoing problem. He did warn us that if there is an infestation because he sprayed that more would come out. Indeed more came out. They were ONLY in the kitchen we saw not one bug or evidence of any other bugs in the entire property not even on the balcony. The worst was that as soon as the meal was finished cooking it immediately had to be taken to the table. I accidentally left some garlic bread on the stove and by the time I walked back from the table to get it roaches were all over the bread. The homeowner tried to brush it off due to rain, don't believe it, certainly, this will be part of her reply to my review, do not believe it. Are you wondering why we stayed? We didn't have the means to pay for another space, it's a sacrifice we take to have family vacation with our children that will soon have their own families, and we also care for aging parents. We had a good time enjoying the beach and ate out due to the bugs.

Beautiful place
Place was just as pictured. Very clean and the view was amazing. We cooked in several meals and everything we needed was there. I'd highly recommend this property. There were 4 adults and 3 children. Plenty of room for all of us!

I only rated cleanliness at a 3 due to the floors. Our feet were black after walking on floors and our crawling grandson was filthy after crawling around. Contacted the owner and the facility was there the next day to mop more intensively. Location and view are exceptional! Umbrella and chairs are not guaranteed as described. Apparently it’s first come first serve. The service would not tag chairs or umbrella for anyone other than a condo owner. Would like to add that the beach service was also rude as well. Only seem to be accommodating to owners only. If nobody is using a set, they will fold them up by 3:30! We tried to use one at 4:30 (they take them down at 5pm) for my son-in-law who had a catheter in and walking with a cane due to recent cancer surgery and they came and took our chairs away. Even after pleading with them. However only one day did we have an issue. As long as you have towels to lay on chairs by 7:30am. The view was good and so was the pool. Never had any noise issues. Great vacation and plenty of room for our 6 adults and 3 children. Owner was super nice and helpful the best she could be. .

This condo is as pretty and clean as the pictures appear. Decore is so charming and the condo is spacious. The view from the balcony is fantastic! Looks straight into the ocean and the manicured courtyard below. We liked it so much we wanted to stay longer. We were able to reach the property manager the evening before we were scheduled to leave, and lucky us, we were able to squeeze in an extra day. We will return!

Great for larger group
We had 2 adult females and 6 teenage girls. The 3 bathrooms were perfect- one for each bedroom! The kitchen is well equipped. However, the floors were not clean and the showers were dirty when we arrived.

Great Condo!
We’ve stayed in several different condos at this property and this is one of our favorites. It’s a great location within the condo complex. Being on the second floor, it’s easy to take the steps instead of waiting on the elevator. It is also just steps from the walk down to the beach. Beautiful view! Everything was very clean and in good working order. We had a maintenance issue with the washer and the property manager had someone out to fix it within a couple of hours. We would definitely stay here again.
