Island Echos 7P: Recently remodeled Bright coastal condo on the beach

Breathtaking views of the Gulf from the balcony of this top floor end unit. Beautiful white sands and clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico await. You will have an updated kitchen and dining area for four. The building is situated directly on the beach with no roads to cross. Parking is plentiful and convenient. There are two elevators on site to carry you up to the top floor. Easy access to attractions such as Oakaloosa Pier, boat rentals, Gulfarium, Crab Island, and downtown Fort Walton. Beach chairs will be provided from March through October.

Ideal Beach Getaway
The building and unit are clean. The rear facing balcony allows you to see and enjoy the ocean regardless of weather and is nice and private. Location couldn't be better, and the beach is very clean.

First off let me say the location is perfect. The condo was lovely, clean and the view was spectacular!! Ice cold air, fully furnished with everything you need and the bed was comfy. We highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed!!

What a beautiful place to stay. Located on the top floor, end unit, very quiet. The beach is right out the door and absolutely gorgeous! I would recommend and would love to stay again. Things to bring: beach towels, coffee, shampoo & conditioner.

This condo is very clean! It has everything you need for your vacation. I love how easy it is to get to the beach. During our stay we saw sea turtles and dolphins. We loved spending our time on the balcony. This part of the beach isn’t as crowded. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a very pleasant stay! The condo was spotless when we arrived and the kitchen had everything we needed, all we had to get was groceries! The bed was comfortable and the view was absolutely magnificent! We will be back again! Highly recommend this property! Thanks so much for helping make this a memorable trip for both of us!

The property had a great view being on the top floor and on an end unit. The condo was well taken care of and clean. We were able to enjoy the beach and nearby restaurants. Parking was a breeze as well. Would recommend this unit to others.

Nice couples getaway
We enjoyed our long Labor Day weekend. Condo was nice. Owner very nice and promptly helped when needed. Beach is beautiful and view was perfect. Only cons I might have is bring things you need to prepare your food. Of course your seasonings and condiments, that's a given. But there is no alum foil, plastic wrap, storage bags or even plastic containers with lids. Also, air conditioner is on the bedroom wall and it is loud when it starts up. Can be quite annoying when trying to sleep. But over-all, we truly enjoyed ourselves! Don't hesitate to stay here.

Had a wonderful, relaxing time. View was amazing over the Gulf. The umbrella and chairs already set up on the beach. Awesome communication booking, questions answered timely, all around great experience. Room was clean. It’s the top corner unit so not a lot of traffic near your room. Would definitely recommend.

Condo was very nice. Beautiful views from both sides. Very clean and up to date with newer appliances, coffee maker and phone charging station. Bed was comfortable Only 2 minor things to improve. Only one towel was provided but we made due with our towels. And the the AC unit was right next to the bedroom. When it kicked on it was very loud.

We have stayed at Island Echoes several times. You just can’t beat the view from the balcony, the included umbrella/chairs on the beach, etc. we would definitely stay here again! One thing I would note for anyone staying here….you have to get your beach towels down on some chairs EARLY….like 7:30-8:00. They were doing something new this year where several setups in the front very center had pink tags on them….those were $15 to rent for the day. If you didn’t get your stuff down there early to one of the other setups you ran the risk of having to sit in the second row….which meant you had all those chairs and umbrellas obstructing your view!!!

Our opinion
Living room furniture was not very comfortable and needed cleaning or replacing. Really needed updating but as I said it was at least clean. Balcony furniture is Walmart level cheapo stuff. Not enough linens for fresh every day use for 2. Extra pillows but no pillow cases for them that we could find. Overall we totally enjoyed our time at the beach but in comparison to many other condos we have stayed at in this area this one seems very much like a bare bones place for income production only. The balcony views were spectacular as everyone else said. Not trying to blow the owners ratings but this was our opinion based on our lifestyle. Overall i would give it a 80%-90%. Not bad enough to say beware don’t go just not good enough for us to go away and feel like we got our hard earned money’s value back.
