"We were able to book online and show up 10 minutes later to check in around 1pm - before regular check-in time. We were taking refuge from the ice/snow storm and they had a room for us. I understand this experience is based on room availability but it was much appreciated! The staff was very helpful in helping us get anything we needed. The hotel was right next to the historic area of town but due to the weather we unfortunately couldn't take advantage."

"What an awesome place! I’m not sure if I’ll ever be back, but maybe I’ve found an excuse to visit now. Frank, the owner, text me first thing in the morning on the day of my arrival to ask if I needed anything. He greeted me upon arrival, showed me to my room and took the time to strike up conversation and talk to me about the things he thought I’d find interesting after he learned a little about my interests. "This house was perfect and with traveling with 2 dogs who are used to country life and love being outside this house was so quiet, peaceful and perfect for the dogs as well. We loved how close it was to the middle of fort Scott so wasn’t too far to get food or groceries delivered. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with lots of space! "

"We were here for K rock frostbite. Accommodations were amazing. Clean, nice, amazing space. Loved that there was a pool table. My only downside was the check-in process. The instructions of where the keypad was to even get in is not accurate. I wish I knew I needed to call the host to be guided.But they were extremely friendly and guided me quickly to be able to get in. Overall five stars."
