Green Home Cottages & Campsite ist einer der friedlichsten und ruhigsten Orte, den ich in Uganda gesehen habe. Man hat dort einen phänomenalen Ausblick auf den See, in dem man auch schwimmen kann. Die Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich und entgegenkommend. Dort gab es einen verschmusten Hund, eine schmusbare Katze, mehrere Ziegen, Affen und Echsen. Unser Cottage war minimalistisch, aber gemütlich und kuschelig. Es störte, dass die Stromversorgung zur Zeit unseres Aufenthalts nur bedingt funktionierte. In der Hütte ging immer nur entweder Licht oder per USB-Kabel laden. Die Steckdosen funktionierten nicht. Es geht aber auch ohne und an der Lösung wird bereits gearbeitet. Das Essen war klasse. Wir haben nur lokales Essen bestellt und es war lecker. Fazit: Als Rückzugsort von der Zivilisation sehr zu empfehlen.
