Lookout Summit retreat is the perfect place to relax with the whole family! Nestled in the woods atop Lookout Mountain in Fort Payne, you get the true cabin feel when staying here. You will be immersed in the outdoors while staying here! We are only 5 minutes away from Desoto State park, 15 minutes from Little River Canyon National Preserve, 10 minutes to BEAUTIFUL Desoto Falls, and right around the corner from the quaint town of Mentone. Getaway in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was as described. We were close enough to town for supplies but far enough away to really enjoy being in the mountains. Communication was excellent and we were given recommendations on things to do and places to eat which is really helpful.

Amazing cabin

Beautiful cabin in a great location. The owners were very helpful and had great recommendations on food and places to go see. The cabin is great, in an amazing location close to both DeSoto State Park and Mentone

Great Location

We have stayed here several times and always find it comfortable and clean. We attend a horse competition several times a year in Rainsville and the location is very convenient. We have stayed at a few other VRBO homes in the area, but this one is our favorite.

Thanksgiving

Everything was perfect with this beautiful cabin, we cooked Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed except a few items i remembered to bring. We will definitely stay here again the next time we want to get away.

Great getaway spot

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful spring break here. Near many different hiking trails, good food, nice small town atmosphere. The hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Would love to book again.
