Perfect Beach Spot
This was our second stay at this house and once again, it was perfect. Steps to the beautiful beach and we were able to watch dolphins and sunsets from the deck. We loved the new additions to the deck area. Great spaces for breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Clean, easy check-in and very responsive hosts. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

Beautiful beach house - Sanibel looks so close!
Our family stayed in March for two wonderful weeks and created such great memories. Very clean, resourceful and so comfortable. The views are amazing from everywhere and the outdoor lanai and decking was just perfect. Sunsets were breathtaking. Owners take such pride and very helpful with anything needed during our stay. Thank you!

Awesome House Right On the Beach
The whole setting was perfect. Each couple had a king sized bed and private bathroom. Super comfy beds, stocked kitchen. Closest beach access Ive had. The beach was literally steps away. We spent a lot of time at the beach, shelling and just relaxing. A sea turtle laid eggs just in front one night. We definitely would do it again!

Great stay on FMB
We had a great week on FMB in this beautiful home. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was very well appointed. We appreciated the very well stocked spice cupboard and ready coffee supplies. The view of the gulf and easy beach access topped off the week. Our hosts checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great Place to Relax
Spend much need time with family. We had the perfect accommodations for 3 couples with the each getting a bedroom and a bath. The kitchen had most of all we needed and the view from the balcony was fabulous (unfortunately due to the houses in line are missing from Ian). We enjoyed dolphin & bird watching and plenty of shells for all!! Can't wait to come back!!

Wonderful beach get-away!
Our stay at Cardinal Island was such a wonderful get-away! The home is clean, bright, and lovely, and literally just steps to the beach! There is deck space with plenty of seating and a nice eating area to enjoy your morning coffee, share a meal, or watch the amazing sunsets. We had everything we needed for the week to cook, grill out, do laundry, and relax on the beach. Comfy beds for restful nights! Excellent communication with the owners! We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful view
Our family absolutely loved our stay at this property! Steps away from the beach with fantastic views of the ocean from both decks. We enjoyed incredible sunsets from either the deck or the beach every night. The house is so welcoming and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything you will need for an easy, relaxing stay. Communication with them was awesome! We would definitely book this property again if we return to Fort Myers.

Amazing House Steps from the Beach
I cannot say enough about this amazing property. The house was immaculate and very well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The white sandy beach was steps away but we spent most of our day on the incredibly large and comfortable deck. The pictures on line do not do it justice. Paul and Christine checked in with us a few times to make sure we were comfortable and to see if there was anything we needed. We hope to get back here again soon!

Last Week of Summer
So happy with our stay at Cardinal Island. From the owners hospitality to the perfect beach location. No surprises and perfect weather despite the tropics amping up. Wonderfully relaxing weekend even met new friends that were neighbors during our stay. Definately will return.

Loved our stay!!
The property was everything we hoped for and more! The home came well furnished and we loved being right on the beach. The main deck off of the living room became a favorite hang-out place for breakfast and late afternoon unwinding after a day at the beach. The bedrooms were very comfortable. If we ever vacationed in Fort Myers again, we would seriously consider staying here again. Communication with the owners was very easy and they answered all of our questions, including answers about fishing charters.

This home was a piece of paradise
Everything was perfect from booking to check out. The view is to die for! The pictures are accurate only it is even more beautiful than the photos. We slept with the master bedroom with the blinds open so I could wake up to see the white sand beach! There are two decks you could sit on. And the house is on the beach... Fabulous! The house was immaculate and well appointed, it had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very communicative and answered our questions promptly. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home on your beautiful beach!

Pure paradise
What an amazing experience we had. We stayed at Cardinal island for our annual grandparents trip and we couldn’t be any happier that we did. The house was perfect! It was very close to the beach (about 100 feet) and you can enjoy the sunsets from the top floor without leaving the home. The house was clean, spacious and literally equipped with everything you may want or need. Communication with owners was wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Beach House!!
I have been going to Ft. Myers Beach since I was a kid but this years stay was by far the very best. We stayed at The Island Cardinal for a week and loved every minute of our stay. The 3 bedroom home was big enough for our family of six. The entire home was well equipped with all the things we may have needed. We prepared our meals daily in its' well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed our daily coffee on the outdoor wooden deck or walked to the beach in our PJ's to watch the sunrise since the beach is just steps away. There is no need to get in your car and drive to the public beach. You can easily set up on the beach and not worry about leaving your personal items there. The sunsets are breathtaking! It is centrally located on the island but just a short drive to pier where you will find local shops, restaurants, and bars. It was the perfect home away from home! Can't wait to return next summer!!

Exceptionally Exceded Expectations
We stayed here over the week of Thanksgiving. The house description and pictures were right on. In fact, the house was even better than expected. It had everything we needed plus. My husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law, and my mother had a wonderful time and were very comfortable. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms worked out really well for our week long stay, The decks are to die for. Do notice though that there are many stairs so it was a little tricky for my older mother. Morning coffee or sunset watching - they had chairs and tables and lounges. The beach is right there so it was so convenient. Publix was a quick drive or a 5 minute walk. The owner was VERY responsive when we had a question upon checking in. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. We have rented many times through VRBO in other places. This one was exceptional!

Fabulous Spring Break Trip !
We had the best stay at this house! The home was a perfect fit for our 3 couples and a child. The house was clean and beds were so comfy! There was also a hair dryer in each bathroom, something not mentioned in the description but important for us women! :) The location was the best part. It is mid island and not near all the condos so the beach wasn't crowded at all. There were so many shells and sand dollars, it was surprising! you have a VERY short walk to the beach. We were able to go down for the sunrise, back up for breakfast, down for beach time, back up for lunch, etc with no effort at all. Also, there is a very nice restaurant that delivered, which was great since we didn't want to leave much. Oh, they also have a Keurig and coffee pot to fit everyone's wants. lol Linda was a delight to work with as well! Hopefully we will get to return and I will definitely choose this house again! Overall the stay was absolutely perfect!

Location, Location, Location!
We love the location of this home! It sets one house away from the beach which is about 50 steps from the famous sugar white sandy beach of Ft. Myers. Our family enjoyed setting up our chairs, tent and various beach games for the day. During our stay in May, we found many beautiful shells, sand dollars and starfish each day we swam in the delightful refreshing gulf water. No need to get in your car to find additional family fun....it's only a short 3 minute walk down the beach where you can rent jet skis, a parasail trip, or a paddle board. The location of the nearest grocery store is less than a mile down the road and can be an easy morning walk. The trolley stop is practically next door and is another fun inexpensive activity. The house is located mid-island, which is away from the majority of the tourists and crowds. There are several marinas located just minutes away where we decided to rent a boat for the day and enjoyed the time on the Caribbean-like waters. We also had a fun evening at Times Square by the pier eating dinner, people watching and savoring a cool treat from our favorite ice-cream shop. Sanibel and Captiva Island are super close by, which one could venture out for the day to visit their unique shops and beaches. There are plenty of local restaurants to choose from, but our family enjoyed staying at Island Cardinal beach home and eating right on our own piece of paradise! I don't want to forget to mention the beautiful sunsets right on the beach each evening or even better yet on top of the second deck with a glass of wine! The tropical decorated home with all king size beds, three full size bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, along with two outdoor decks made this an awesome family vacation. The location is excellent and we can't wait to come back!
