Disappointing - Not what we expected from the photos or past reviews.
We stayed for 2 weeks in Feb 2025 Pros: - great location with close proximity to the beach. Kitchen was beautiful aesthetically. Beds were Very comfortable. The outside BBQ grill was clean and worked well. The host was extremely accommodating and polite, allowing us to check in early and check out late, which we appreciated. Lots of games provided to play for fun. Washing machine & dryer worked well.Cons: - Upon arrival, the house had a musty odor, and the floors were both crumb-covered and sticky. White socks turned black from walking on the floors. The master bathroom lights and toilet paper holder were covered in dust. The kitchen was not very well equipped. Cheap coffee maker and toaster. Not enough towels provided - had to do laundry every other day. Pool was dirty and had an unpleasant odor (we had a 2 week stay and pool guy came once). Only 2 mismatched poolside lounge chairs available on the pool deck. The Garbage cans were filthy and too dirty to touch… I realize they are outside and used for garbage but they were really bad. Very dirty exterior door to the back deck. Had we seen a review like this for this property, we would not have booked here. I am not trying to be unpleasant but rather to be honest and give possible guests an accurate picture of what our experience was.

Home Away From Home
I stayed with my family at this awesome home. The place has everything you could possibly need from cooking supplies to a grill to beach towels to bug spray to beach chairs to fishing poles for us to use. Extremely thoughtful host. Loved being on the water and being able to use our fishing poles every morning and the pool/hot tub every night. We even saw a dolphin everyday. And the house is very close to the beach, we would walk there every day. Highly recommend staying here.

We had the best trip! The house was absolutely beautiful and so clean. We spent everyday swimming in the pool and walking to the beach for sunset. We also enjoyed fishing in the canal. The only problem was time went too fast and our trip was over. Already planning to come back. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second year coming to this property and we had a great time again. Property manager is always a text away if you need anything and very accommodating. House was very clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Location is great right on the canal and the pool is very entertaining for whole family. Highly recommended for family vacations.

We had such a nice time at this gorgeous property! Walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood and private pool/spa! Our 14 year old daughter is obsessed with vinyls, so it was a treat to be able to look thru and play some old tunes. The hosts were amazing to work with as well!

Great Canal House
Our family truly enjoyed our stay in this spacious canal house. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beach in walking distance and the pool perfect for a family vacation. We also were able to launch our paddle boards directly from the property. Would highly recommend staying here.

Enjoyed our stay at this beach cottage. Private pool on a quiet, corner lot. The house was stocked with everything needed, close to Publix and beach. Very clean and beautifully decorated.

Fantastic!
Absolutely amazing stay! The property was flawless and the location was ideal. Mid-island is the place to be for families. Close enough to the action, but far enough away to have a peaceful trip. One of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The pool and hot tub were great and the corner lot on the canal was such a cool bonus. We saw dolphins in the canal twice! We lived in fort myers for a few years and this was our first trip back since the hurricane. Great to see the recovery well under way. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again in the future!

We loved everything about this house...the pool/hot tub was definitely a hit with our family of 4. The inside of the home was spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and the house was stocked with everything you need to cook! My husband loved looking through all the old vinyl records, and we actually did our laundry on the last night and flew home with clean clothes, LOL! Thanks for a lovely stay!

What a wonderful property! The house is completely updated and has all you need. Waterfront view with a beautiful porch. We even saw dolphin swimming in the canal. Great property - very easy to check in. Erin notified me when the property was ready (before check in time!). The house is really nice - very open floor plan in the kitchen and family room, which was great for 2 young kids to play. The yard is wonderful, with the grass area and pool/jacuzzi.

Perfect location, Perfect stay.
Wonderful property in a perfect location. Hard to still see a lot of destruction all around but this is everything you could hope for. Quiet, peaceful stay. Walked to beach everyday. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night. Even when it rained we enjoyed the large collection of classic rock albums. Would definitely stay here again if in FMB.

FMB rebuilding
The house was in a mostly quiet neighborhood with only a few neighbors actually in their homes for the holidays. There were a few parties down the street. The kitchen was well stocked and the gas grill right out the kitchen was great to use. The kids especially loved the hot tub and pool. They even watched football games on Christmas from the hot tub in the light rain. We used the beach chairs one day which was wonderful to have. It was nice not to pack toys or beach towels as they had all that including a football! There are plenty of board games and even a record players. We didn’t enjoy the master bed mattress, but that could have been our preference. It is a firm foam platform king bed. The area is rebuilding but all the necessities are open…bars, restaurants, coffee and ice cream! There is still lots of rebuilding to do. We didn’t hear a lot of construction noise, so that was great. The house is conveniently located with grocery stores, restaurants, stores and the beach close by without being right on the beach next to a bar. Thanks for a nice Christmas getaway.
