Had to change the original room they had me in because it smelled like moldy lead paint, and being on the first floor, finding the windows wouldn't lock was not going to happen.
They kindly put me upstairs and the windows worked, but again, it smelled like moldy lead paint, I left the windows open to try to air it out.
The courtyard had people early in the very morning chilling out speaking loudly and I had to ask staff to have them be quiet because they kept waking me up.
There's construction on two high rises across the street and that woke me up a few days too, but obviously not the hotel's fault.
It's a block from the beach I wanted to frequent, and that's why I chose Drift, but next time I'll spend a little more and stay at somewhere else.
All the staff I encountered were very friendly.
