The client didnt respond
The house owner never responded after we made our payment 3 weeks in advance. Never gave us a door code never showed up never answered his phone for myself or Vrbo. everything was confirmed through email. And on a date of my check-in he completely just didn’t respond and did not even text back. Ignored everybody. We were almost stranded in Miami. Five women. It was a terrible experience. Makes me untrustworthy of vrbo. Vrbo themselves told me over the phone that I was not getting a refund because the client was paid and not them. It took me having to call my bank to get my money back. Apparently they do not do refunds, and they will tell you that they don’t do refunds. Not joking literally have screenshots of this. Even if one of their advertisers for their homes do not show up. They will tell you that there is no refund. This company is extremely untrustworthy and very misleading.
