"Three of us stayed at this recently remodeled cabin in Gasquet. What a wonderful stay we had! We had access to charcoal grill that we used both nights, a well stocked kitchen with all the equipment needed to prepare meals, nice toiletries, plenty of outdoor patio furniture, and a lovely, private setting (even though next to a highway). "This is a good place for someone who enjoys camping and being with nature. The people are nice. The scenery and a sky full of stars at night made the trek worth it. My young daughter was amused by the animals and was thrilled getting eggs from the hens."

"Back to nature with all the comforts of home. Stunning property delightful home. I would move here in a heart beat and be happy for the rest of my life. Perfect retreat. I am 75, i wanted to spend some time in the deep forest but have some limiting mobility factors. This property had the right mix of tall trees, water, and shektered places to sit and enjoy nature with only a short walk. Beautiful home, many large windows so even when I was inside i could enjoy the outside . Absolutly heaven on...

"This was a perfect place for myself, my husband, mother-in-law and 2 boys! The location was great, secluded off a side street, so the only noise we heard was the amazing sound of the waves! Beach access was great, my oldest son and I used the stairs a few times! "

"Our small family just had an amazing stay here. The gorgeous crystal clear Smith River is visible/walkable from the back porch, and this is a *perfect* home base location to see the Redwoods in the prime JS area. Joe the host was super friendly and let us use his canoe on the beautiful river, we had a little campfire out back and he has an active orchard/garden going on. Joe pressed some apples and gave us a jug of apple juice that was unforgettable! They also had a Golden Retriever dog Nellie...

"Just my mom and I used this home at the beginning of August. We both love this home. It’s perfect for two people. Or if you’re a couple with a child, this works out really well. Bring a fan because the house doesn’t have a fan if you need some air circulation, otherwise we’ll be back here again next August. Great location. Close to restaurants and the private festival. Quiet here. Great view of the river and ocean. Just love this place. "

"Views are amazing, deck is nice but has deferred maintenance. The cabin itself is very small but cute. Main floor bed is unbelievably noisy, uncomfortable creaking loudly with any movement. Very little sleep for 2 nights. It needs to be replaced before renting again. "What a wonderful place to stay! The grounds were clean, beach access was awesome. You were able to hear the waves crashing from our living room. Home was well supplied. Might suggest an air fryer. Coffee pot was a true treat. Spectrum cable not accessible, so that was a little frustrating. Overall our stay was absolutely wonderful. "

"I have stayed at many bnbs and this one by far exceeded my expectations. Its very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and the view is incredible! The communication with the host was outstanding. We had no problem getting in and he even left us a treat. I will definitely stay here every time Im visiting the coast. I highly recommend Cabin 10!!"

"Comfortable space for a short stay. The kitchen was well equipped for plates and glasses. We did not really cook so cannot comment on cooking implements. Great large deck with private hot tub made for good relaxation space with a small view of ocean. Although not directly on the beach it was a nice private location. Great location of resort for exploring regional beaches, state parks and coastal viewpoints. "

A Great Place to Stay

"Westward Inn is an incredible place to stay. Though it's style is of an older version of a motel (outside access), it is extremely updated both inside and outside. The staff is amazing, the interior fresh and comfortable, and the price is a bargain that can't be beat."
