"We chose the house based on security for dogs. The location and secure backgarden for the dog was great. The house had many facilities, but we ate out at all the great nearby restuarants that were within walking distance. The second reason for choosing Bella Vista was the fire in the lounge but this does not work. We had to phone the agent to find this out when we could not get it lit. The web site lists the fire and shows photos of the fire working. This needs to change on the web site.. The...

"Good little value for money place. I don't mind bringing all linen if the price is reasonable. Only fault is the upstairs bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the last guests. Pretty gross."

"House was amazing. Amenities, in abundance. Garage converted to bedroom and extra living area was good too until some furry friends decided to join us. Given the area and lots of trees around, the whole property (inside & out) could have done with removing of cobwebs and what lay in them. Otherwise, a great place to stay with friends and family."

"Such a spectacular home in a breathtaking location!! We loved our stay! My daughter and my nephew competed in the Great Ocean Rd marathon and even though weather conditions were challenging, the beauty of the coastline was still amazing! Gorgeous comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms and everything you could wish for in the kitchen! A wonderful stay!!"

"We loved the location, the steep treed hills and the lake - an excellent base to travel around the Otways. More generous tea/ coffee supplies were needed. Also there was no pre-warning about lack of free-to-air TV and only a few board games. In this situation, a radio would also be a useful addition to amenities. Suggest a warning system/ tooting? on the steep narrow, driveway shared between other guests & host family."

"The cabin was beautiful although the pics are quite deceiving when it comes to the size. We had a wonderful stay and definitely ovrrpacked. The area was gorgeous. We needed to drive to the beach as it would be an extremely hard walk for those not in peak physical condition."
