"The front of the house was not welcoming with a lot of dirty cobwebs around the window and door.The front door opened into the main living room which is the selling point of the property, it does have a wow factor with ingle nook fireplace and oak beamed walls but the sofas are old and uncomfortable and the large rug is very faded and rucks up and becomes a tripping hazard.The kitchen and bathroom are very dated (80s) and needing a complete refurbishment. "The Granary is exquisite, stylish and so comfortable. The hosts are lovely. The cottage has everything we needed and close to lovely sites and country walks. We loved spending time there and decided to stay in every night despite the many gastro pubs around simply because it felt like home. Highly recommend."
