"We booked it as an emergency on the morning of our stay. We felt very welcome on arrival, Terry and Lynette are great hosts and happy to deliver whatever you need for you. The property is very old, "historic" is the right description, so be prepared for the "quirkiness" and mild inconveniences that come with it. We stayed in an on suite room and that was fine. "Great hospitality from the staff. Breakfast was good but a little overpriced for a basic continental spread. I would have expected the continental breakfast to be included with the room rate. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous! I would love to dine there again. When I got my final bill for my stay (room and breakfast) I was asked if I wanted to add further gratuity to it which was a little surprising and made me feel a bit awkward.
