"The Angelina is a quiet comfortable self catering accommodation just off the main promenade and convenient to all amenities As a resident here we were able to avail of breakfast in the panorama hotel in their rooftop restaurant which was very pleasant with a good selection of buffet food and polite staff. "I'm not going to lie this accommodation is only suitable to those who are mobile, don't mind walking up steps or who have access to a car. This is clearly outlined by the property so it shouldn't come as a surprise. The area is lovely and picturesque, much better than Amalfi, which is just around the corner."

The room was ready when we arrived and the on-site representative Luigi explained everything about the property , the room, the surrounding area, restaurants etc. Local transport, mini market, launderette are all close by. "Property is as listed. Property manager, Luca, was totally awesome! He was very responsive and helpful. Arranged an in villa cooking class and dinner for us on our last night. Amazing. Know that you have to walk a lot of steps to and from town unless you’re willing to wait for a shuttle bus reasonably close by. If you have knee issues, it should be a consideration, but the view was worth every step! Thank me for the opportunity to stay here!"

Cons: (1) the property is on a hill - you have to take at least two flights of stairs (not in the pictures) outside the house to get to the entrance, and then there is a colorful long flight of stairs inside the house (in the pictures). So be prepared if traveling...

"We enjoyed our stay. It is farther away from the town center than I anticipated and as other reviews there are many steps which are difficult with luggage but able to hire someone to help as we are older. The private patio and view was stunning. Check out process was not exactly as clear as we are accustomed to in the US and we did the best we could. There was an ant problem however in the bathroom and we did not leave food out."

"On the whole we enjoyed our stay. The balcony was great, bed comfy and a nice bathroom.the staff friendly and helpful. We did have issues… the air con was noisy and we couldn’t turn it off until a staff member came. Air con from other rooms was noisy as were people scrapping chairs across the tiled floors at all times night and day, and locally there was a small dog that constantly yapped from dawn to dusk, however these are problems everywhere. I can recommend Maiori as a base for the Amalfi...
