5 bedrooms! Beautiful Mountain Retreat

This is a perfect getaway for large families, a work retreat or just getting away from the business of life! Our cabin features 5 bedrooms plus a loft, 4 full bathrooms, large patio with a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen with all cooking amenities and plenty of toys and games for the kids. We have four children between my brother's family and ours and always have additional families up for the weekend. There is plenty of room for everyone, with our favorite times sitting on the patio while the kids explore the great outdoors!

We are tucked away on a cul-de-sac street and back to the mountain preserve. Horseback riding is available within a couple miles from the cabin, as well as, many hiking trails and seven cold water lakes. There is much to do for those that enjoy the outdoors!

Cabin Layout:

*Two Master Bedrooms.
Master Bedroom #1 is upstairs with a Queen Bed, full bath, walk-in closet, additional sitting area that is occupied with a Full Bed. There is a loft with a full size, fold-out Futon directly off the Master Bedroom #1.
Master Bedroom #2 is downstairs with a King Bed and Twin Bed, full bath and walk-in closet.

*Three Guest Bedrooms.
Two guestroom's have full-size beds. Guest bedroom #3 has an elevated (top bunk) and twin bed below. This is a great room for kids, as we designate it as the 'playroom'.

*Kitchen includes; microwave, full oven, refrigerator with ice maker, all cookware, utensils and basic spices.

*Living room includes; Satellite TV and gas fireplace.

There is a fabulous, relaxing oversize front patio with a wood burning fireplace, surround sound and plenty of seating. This is a great setting to relax with a book or happy hour with friends and family before dinner.

~Other amenities include: a dog run, a gas grill, two charcoal grills, custom poker table, pack-n-play, high chair, children's plates, cups, utensils and plenty of games/toys. (corn-hole game is a big hit! It's a bean bag game that entertains all ages)

Perfect Peaceful Setting
Lots of room for everyone and the cabin is in a very peaceful place in Forest Lakes. Because of the location it feels like you are the only cabin in the area if you are inside or out on the deck. The deck is fantastic, big, and with the fireplace, a perfect place to sit and relax with the family. Our 5th time here and we will hopefully be back for more. Thank you

We've stayed here several times. We love this place, plenty of room for the whole family. We love having a big beautiful fire in the fireplace in the patio!! Especially when its snowing. We will back again soon!

Forest Lakes Mountain Stay
This property provided a very easy place to relax and enjoy time in the mountains with family members for a long weekend. Two large living room areas, one inside and one outside, provided great areas for socializing. We would definitely stay here again.

Winter Wonderland getaway
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it was as wonderful as the first. Very spacious. Love the gas fireplace and outside fireplace. Plenty of blankets to keep us warm. We played in the snow. A great time was had by all of us!

We loved the Cabin we stayed at. The cabin was beautiful, lots of room/space. The outside view was amazing. The house was furnished with everything and didn’t need to take nothing. We look foward to coming back and renting the same exact cabin.

Family Getaway
This was our second stay here. It was fabulous! The location is beautiful and so quiet. We had our married daughters and husbands with us and the is abundant room and it is very well equipped. We were already planning our next stay while we were there:) We also had our dogs and they loved it too!

This property has a wonderful location right in the forest. The fireplace provides great ambiance in this beautiful setting. The owner is easily contacted and doesn't ask too much from guests at check out. This is a group friendly kid friendly dog friendly cabin!

Great family getaway
My family and I had a wonderful time and would come back. Pictures really didn’t do it justice in terms of the size. PLENTY of space for my family of 5, and my mom with plenty of room to spare. Location was beautiful, and we loved our mornings at the various lakes/hiking, and our afternoons relaxing on the extra large patio and grilling. Thank you!

Perfect place for large families and pets
Winter storm ruined our family camping plans but we feel so lucky that we were able to find this awesome place. Great location! The place easily accommodated our family of 9 and our 2 dogs. The snow was beautiful and everyone had a great time building snowmen and sledding. We used the fireplace out front daily for relaxing watching the snow and making smores. Everything was clean, stocked, and worked properly. Ready to come back in the summer time to enjoy all the hiking trails and lakes!

Loved the extended enclosed patio to allow kiddos to play and the enclosed dog run to keep everyone from wandering away. Great location to the nearby lakes for fishing and other activities. Spacious cabin with a big open family room, playroom for the littles and extra toys and space in the garage. Loved the fireplace and other included amenities, such as supplies for s'mores. Couldn't have asked for better hosts and can't wait to return!

Tremendous property
This property is it a beautiful area of Arizona. The facility is well cared for and provides everything you could need. It is spacious with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy with your family and friends. Be sure to check for number of adults allowed--I think it was 10. Our family enjoyed this property and would recommend it for vacationing! We would love to be there again!!

Beautiful cabin in the pines!
We've stayed at this cabin for years and love it! There is plenty of sleeping room for 3 families and our kids as they've grown up. Beautiful deck, and a terrific outdoor fireplace to enjoy the evenings. We bring our bocce and cornhole to have fun around the cabin, and also our dogs for walks around the neighborhood. The large table in the kitchen is perfect for our entire group to enjoy dinner together, or play board games and cards. We are so grateful to the owners for sharing their beautiful cabin with us year after year - it is part of our family's (and our friends') treasured memories.

Beautiful Large Cabin Home
Everything was perfect for our family getaway. Home is very well equipped. Standing heaters shown in pictures were not there but fireplace was excellent. This property exceeded all of our expectations from beginning to end. John checked in with us the day we arrived to make sure we found the place, which we all appreciated. To me it shows he cared and I liked the personal touch. I must say that we all shared the same opinion that the pictures really don’t show just how beautiful and clean the place is. The outdoor deck with the fire pit was my favorite and the hosts spoiled us with a welcome gift filled with everything to make s’mores. This was my 5 year old’s favorite and her smile said it all. Beds were all over the place (in a good way) to comfortably sleep 10+ and there is a fenced dog run with a doggy door so you don’t worry about your pets when they need to go outside. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Beautiful Cabin, great location
We had a family reunion of 8 adults and 2 kids and 1 pet. We stay in Forest Lakes every summer, but this is the first time at this cabin. It was very large and accommodating. Loved the large porch. We spent a lot of time on the porch having dinners and breakfasts, playing games, and enjoying the refreshing mountain air. There was plenty of bed space to easily handle our group. I liked the fact it had two side by side refrigerator/freezers. I pre-make almost all meals and vacuum seal/freeze prior to the 12 day trip. This gave plenty of space for the meals plus all the fish we caught at Willow Springs lake which is nearby. 2 refrigerators was also great for storing lots of drinks. They also had great setup for dogs. We had one and they have a doggie door in the laundry room which takes him outside to a nicely fenced in area. Two grills was also nice when cooking steaks/burgers for a large group. If our crowd is this big next year, we will more than likely stay here again. Highly recommend for any large group.

MOUNTAIN MEMORIES
The listing and pictures on the website don't begin to describe the wonderful retreat that awaited us in this beautiful Forest Lakes location. We have always had good luck with Vacation Rentals by Owner but this comfortable home was by far the best! The main roads and the driveway into the property had been plowed so there was no problem getting into the property and we felt welcomed the moment we stepped out of our vehicles. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need to cook up your favorite dishes and all of the cupboards were labeled so you knew just where to put everything when you were done; the pantry was spacious enough to put away all of our food items and having two refrigerators was a plus for our large family. Everything was immaculate & well kept; the bedrooms were warm and inviting and the entire place made us feel like were in our own home. Even tho there was snow on the ground, the outdoor deck was a favorite gathering place as we cuddled in front of the beautiful fireplace. Our family spanned the ages of 7 years to 93 years and everyone had a great time. The only surprise we had was that the room with "twin beds" was actually bunk beds which didn't work too well for my 93 year old Mom who likes to have her own space. We feel blessed to have been able to enjoy this comfortable home and hope to visit again -- maybe during the summer months.

Family Weekend
What a beautiful cabin!! This cabin was the perfect setting for our family weekend with our 3 grown daughters and their spouses. This property is set in a quiet neighborhood that backs up to the woods. There was plenty of space for the 8 adults and an 18 month old. The dogs really loved the woods, the trails nearby and the outdoor patio area. We all spent a lot of time on the outdoor covered patio enjoying the fires in the fireplace and the cool fresh air. The dog run was really convenient too. We will definitely come back!
