"Lovely resort, great skiing, bus transfer right outside and every 15minutes. Small village but perfect for skiers rather than boozers. Property was fantastic- except parking which has an issue with ice forming due to no gutters on roof- this is a potential killer and I had to get a mechanic out to pull car off ice after it slipped even with snow shoes on- Luckily no damage to car but cost me 180 euros. My worry is that someone will fall and crack head open when it could be easily fixed."

"We spent 4 nights at Les hauts de Comborcieres during the Christmas break. The apartment was comfortable. It is very conveniently located near the ski slopes. The pool was really nice too. It is too bad that it closes on Saturdays and that it does not open later at night (it closes at 7:30 pm and it is very crowded in the evening). Les Hauts de Comborcieres is not really a hotel. The apartment is not cleaned daily which was not a problem for us, but we had to take the towels and sheets down to...

"We had a small party of 7 Road cyclists and loved our stay. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and WCs with ample storage for all of the bikes and equipment. The owner responded quickly to all communications and was extremely helpful and accommodating. This is a perfect location for road cycling as long as you like endless tough climbs on the doorstep."

"Chalet très confortable, beaucoup de couchages avec 3 salles d'eau. Terrasse très agréable, ensoleillée le matin, sauna bienvenu en fin de journée. Toute la station est accessible à pieds; randonnées possibles autour de la Toussuire au départ du chalet sans problèmes. "

An excellent stay!

"We had a wonderful week in Catherine and Gilles’s beautiful chalet. The house was spacious, very comfortable and fabulously well equipped. Our chef loved the kitchen. The cinema and swimming pool were perfect places for the children to relax after their exertions on the slopes. Sadly, at the very end of the season, the chalet was no longer ski-in, ski-out and some of the shops in the village were either closed or low on stock. However, we shall take away some extremely happy memories of our week - not least because of Catherine and Gilles’s eagerness to ensure that our stay was the best it could be. Thank you, Catherine and Gilles! xx"
