"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

"We were a group of 8 adults and 6 children all under 7 and we had a holiday to remember that met all our needs. The house is beautiful and very spacious and the garden and pool were great in the hot, sunny weather we were lucky to have. The house is set in lovely countryside with lots of walks and fresh bread and groceries just a short walk through the vineyards in Douelle. Would definitely recommend!"

A mix of modern and traditional French building. Very friendly and helpful owners, who live adjacent to the property but keep to themselves, although they only speak and email in French. "What a great stay! The house and setting were beautiful, the pool was an absolute delight, the river was close by and deliciously cooling and everything was high quality, worked well and had been thoroughly thought through. Highly recommended. The only thing that could have improved it would be air conditioning in all the bedrooms rather than just the largest. All round though it was superb."
