"Quiet, a bit dated. The beach was closed off from the hotel because it was "broken", so we were told. But you could get to it by walking through the town a ways. There was a great pâtisserie across the street, and a small grocery store was next door, both very convenient. There was a small kitchenette on the balcony of our room which was nice to keep food cold and heat stuff up in the microwave. Staff was great, tho some did not speak English, thank goodness for Google Translate. Pool was nice...

"This is a wonderfully situated hotel with a sweeping view down towards Fort-de-France, The staff is unfailingly helpful and cheerful. A delightful place with a gorgeous huge tree (don't recognize it but it looks about 200 years old) where you can sit and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. A nice lap pool too. This is a class operation. I can't say enough good things about it and the people who run it."

"It's impossible to say how GREAT this property is. The staff is one of the best hotel staff I've ever encountered. They were incredible. The rooms are actually large houses with pools, wonderful design half open and half closed. Fantastic style. Wonderful breakfast. Super facilities. Fantastic location. "The room was huge! Separate bedroom, separate bathroom, separate shower, large open concept kitchen, living room. Large balcony with great ocean view. Crickets at night. We stayed one night; before our cruise. Would stay there again. Only downside was we had to check out at 12 noon (which is still reasonable) but our embarkation is only at 5. We could have extended our stay but at 15 euros per hour. In CDN$ that’s quite steep."
