Oceanfront 1Br/1Ba Condo~Little Peace of Heaven

One of Folly's Best! This comfortable and clean 1 bedroom corner condo has hardwood floors, a cozy open floor plan and a beautiful ocean view! Let the king size Tempur-Pedic mattress and luxurious linens help rejuvenate you for each day of your vacation. Little Peace of Heaven is located on the second floor of an elevated three story complex that is directly on the beach. The building was recently renovated to feature new decking and upgraded A/C units. Sit on the porch and enjoy the warm sun as you're watching the dolphins play while having your morning coffee. You even have access to a shared washer/dryer during your vacation! The night sky is perfect for stargazing and listening to the ocean waves crash onto the shore. You can leave your car parked in your reserved parking space the entire time you are here as everything is in easy walking distance. Beach lovers can enjoy the ocean from the view off the shared balcony or by crossing the private boardwalk over the sand dunes and right onto the sand! During the summer you can enjoy the water at one of the only sections of the beach with a lifeguard. Those who like to fish can walk down to the Folly Beach Fishing Pier located less than a block away to join other anglers. Great restaurants, fresh seafood vendors and a grocery store are all nearby. This unit is a great base to explore the beach as well as the Historic City of Charleston. This is a smoke free and pet free condo. Little Peace of Heaven does not allow pets. Folly Beach Suites shares laundry & HVAC with the neighboring unit, a locked door leads to the adjoining laundry room. Please keep temperatures at recommended levels and remove clothes from washer/dryer as soon as possible. While we manage this property we do not manage the maintenance of this building. The place is nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a wonderful location right on the beach and in walking distance of town. Our main disappointment was the kitchen area. The stove is old, with loose electric eyes that take a long time to heat up, and there is no prep room. We had hoped to cook quite a bit but really weren't able to. Other than that it's a nice place.

The refrigerator shelves are taped in the refrigerator and fell down when used. Ice maker didn’t work. Tell owner to spend some of the rental income for a new refrigerator Bed and view were great

AMAZING LOCATION!! You are steps from the beach and literally walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in Folly Beach. Only reason why not a 5 Star rating - the unit itself needs work and updating. We are not picky and don’t need much as we don’t spend a lot of time it the unit. Simply need a bed(Which was comfortable), bathroom and place to hold our belongings. Loved the fact the unit was on the end so others didn’t have to walk past us to get to their unit or the stairs. Grounds were well kept and the place and surrounds area was very clean. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Lovely and Convenient!
This little condo was perfect for my family. Right on the beach with a SHORT walk that had a shower. Everyone in the plex was so nice and welcoming. Previous reviews mention it being older or worn down but we found it to be quaint, calm, and perfect. Well outfitted with everything we needed and the rental company was extremely helpful!

Great Location, property needs a little improvement
We had a great time. The location was great. We were basically on the beach. The condo interior could benefit from a little updating. First, the ice maker appears to have stopped working which wasn’t a big deal for us, just something we noticed. The counter tops, oven burners, and pots and pans were out of level to a degree that cooking was challenging. There were also parts missing from the vertical blinds in the living room area preventing them from being closed completely. Ultimately these were all pretty minor things and our stay went really well.

Easy to find and great access to the beach. Neighbors left their dog alone Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. The dog barked the entire time they were gone. It was annoying but once the owners returned, the dog was ok. We had a great time!

Sitting on balcony was great. Condo was a little shabby for the price. We thought it was a pet free building but only our condo was pet free. Not a problem until people with dog moved in next store and put dog in shared utility room. Husband is highly allergic and it sounded like the dog was in the air vent barking. Had to leave a day early and rent a hotel room for the night before we could go home.

Perfect location
This was a very nice rental. We liked the layout, the roominess, and the convenience of the washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The only discomfort was the sofa. We loved the front balcony looking out over the ocean. So close! Also, it was great to be in walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants, as well as Bert’s. This was our first time staying in Folly Beach. We would definitely rent this unit again.
