Precious cottage and perfect for a girls’ weekend getaway!

Getaway in Folly
This stay was great. Quiet little backyard bungalow. Everything you need. Within walking distance to everything in Folly. Would stay again.

Only Great Thing Was Location
The property had not been cleaned well once we got there. Palmetto bugs (Roaches) were scattered throughout when we got there. The cleaner had even smashed one and left it there. The privacy is not great outside of some shades on the glass doers that you have to sneak behind when entering or exiting. A/C did not stay cool and the common area was a mess. They do have a great location in proximity to the beach and town. But that’s about it,

Good location. No privacy.
The place (actually Cottage B) is in a great location but has Zero privacy through the blinds. I had to buy sheets to hang up over all the windows. Cute place but I don't recommend a long stay. Maybe 2 or 3 days top do to lacking comfort inside ie. seating and bed. It does have a little shared area to hang out in the back yard and walking distance to the Beach, Bars and restaurants.

Good, but could be better
The location was great and the Murphy bed was comfy. The space is really well laid out and, though we didn't use any of the appliances, they are nice. We did have to kill a few roaches / palmetto bugs inside the house. In addition, there was sand all over the stools that didn't get cleaned prior to our arrival. Those are relatively small issues. The more concerning issue is lack of privacy. We noticed quickly that the privacy shades don't completely shade what ypu see in the house. If a light is on inside you can see plenty to not leave much to imagination. That felt a tad uncomfortable. I suppose it wasn't a major inconvenience to go to the bathroom to change, but thicker privacy shades should be installed.

Good morning, we are checking out of “The Other Place Cottage”. We are in the B unit, the white modern studio cottage. We had a few issues: 1. The left leg of the fold down bed is broken- missing some screws and washers that actually fit the unit. I found some washers and a screw, but when attached, the bed would not fold into the wall. Based on the marks on the left side of the wall, it seems this is not a new issue. 2. The blinds do not provide any privacy in the evening. When you have any lights on, or have the TV on, you can see right into the entire cottage- not appreciated. 3. The fitted sheet for the bed must be a “twin” and not a full, because it was very difficult to try to fit it on the mattress. Once you sit onto the bed, the slides came undone. 4. The outdoor shower is inoperable. Thanks for your attention to these issues. We really liked this modern cottage concept, with the above issue corrected, we would recommend to our friends.

This cottage is just like the photos. My husband and I wanted a weekend away, just the two of us and this was just the place. Folly Beach was beautiful and the cottage was quiet and cozy. Murphy bed not the most comfortable, but it was ok for two nights.

Birthday getaway
The Cottage itself was great. Just as the pictures showed. Location was a close walk to the beach. Only thing we’d change was the maintenance of the property. Courtyard wasn’t maintained, leaves everywhere and dirty. Houses surrounding Cottage are very close to each other and aren’t in nearly as good condition, also I wish there had been additional porch seating. We’d possibly stay here again in the future.

Perfect for 2
This little cottage was just perfect for our vacation. We had everything we needed. The cottage was comfy and cozy. Close to the beach and not a far drive to historic Charleston. I was able to wash clothes so I didn't have loads to do when I got home. I would highly recommend this sweet little home away from home. 💖
