5BR Custom Beach House ON THE BEACH Wedding Venue

'A Shore Thing' is a 5 bedroom, 5 1/2 bathroom, handicapped accessible, four story vacation rental dream house. Elevator access (40"wide x 45" deep cab) to every floor anFour (4) master suites, each with private bathrooms and all with an ocean view and private / personal 'romeo & Juliet balcony'. Top floor features a billiard / game room with a tiki hut. Main (1st floor) features a large open kitchen with island, 2 dishwashers, screened porch and open porch with built in 30' Lynx gas grill.

Amazing custom design & built beach house. Made for vacation renatls and family fun.

QUIET HOURS.
Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM each night and continue until sunrise. Quiet hours consist of no music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.
PETS
The Host does not allow pets: There are no pets allowed on the Premises. If the Guest is found to have pets on the Premises, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking on the Premises is prohibited. If the Guest is found to have smoked inside the Premises, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited.
FOLLY BEACH SHORT TERM RENTAL RULES
Guest is required to follow Folly Beach rules for short term rentals. Any violation of rules, which results in a formal violation issued to homeowner will result in a $500 fine.
ELEVATOR
must be is found in working / functioning order (minus mechanical / equipment failures). This includes improper use / improper stoppage of elevator and leaving the inner gate open (thus causing system lockout). If elevator is not found in working order, a repair fee of $175 (charged at cost) will be deducted from damage deposit.

It was the perfect place to host a family multi-generational vacation. The beach is very peaceful and plenty to do on Folly Beach and an east drive to Charleston.

Fabulous Stay!
The house was amazing and the pool table was a big hit. It accommodated our whole family perfectly. The yard was great for games and it was a perfect walk to the beach.

The property met all our needs. The layout was well thought out. It was an enjoyable week! We will be looking forward to coming back! The beach was very peaceful, great for young grandkids to play and explore! Would suggest more coffee mugs and freestanding vacuum for quick sand pickup. Otherwise no recommendations.

It was a great place for our wedding. We had 50 guests and it fit everyone nicely! We had a hiccup when we checked in but the landlord was very responsive and fixed it. Such a good open space with beautiful views.

Amazing Wedding
We held our wedding at A Shore Thing and it was better than we could have imagined. The homeowner was communicative and easy to work with leading up to our event and our stay with family made the weekend so special. The sunrise/sunset views from the house are spectacular, we loved everything about the home and our stay!

Great venue for our wedding!
We had our wedding here and this home was the perfect setting! Lots of room for everyone to stay as well as the setup of the home and backyard made this the perfect venue for a beach wedding. The owner is very responsive and helps out in any way he can.

Beach House Vacation
This was a great rental for our group of 12 adults and 3 children! It was very clean, had a great view of the ocean, and Ross was very responsive to any concerns we had. A regional thing to note is apparently hairdryers are not commonly provided in rental houses in Charleston which we didn't know, so we didn't bring any and had to buy some. In any case, great house and we enjoyed it very much!!!

Awesome family vacation home!
Beautiful house with a great porch and beach access. Plenty of room for the family and the kid/bunk room is pretty amazing. Pool table on top floor helped pass the rainy day and the elevator was a life saver for my mother. The layout was very family friendly and we will definitely stay again!

Family Vacation back in Folly
Great house. Great stay. A few things off and would have appreciated some beach chairs and towels, but a great time was had by all. Hope oven is finally fixed. We did perfect toll house cookies on the grill.

This house was perfect and amazing. There were 16 of us and the house accompanied us very well. The kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. The screened in porch was large and enjoyed by everyone, especially the rocking trips. The kids especially loved the bunk room. The house is truly exceptional. And the beach is right in front of you. Best rental we have ever stayed in.

We were here two years ago and returned for our family vacation. We were excited to come together yet again and was not disappointed. Great Place for Venue
This rental was perfect for a family vacation that coincided with my youngest son's wedding. The house was perfect to hold the rehearsal dinner as well as a place for the groomsmen to change into their attire. Only drawback is the City of Folly Beach being uncooperative and dishonest to our vendors, but that is not the fault of this rental. Just beware of the city if you plan to hold an event.

Great space to host Thanksgiving meal
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. The beach views were tremendous and we appreciated that the bedrooms had equivalent amenities (dedicated bathrooms, closets, etc). We made some large meals in the kitchen and found it very well stocked with a variety of pans, utensils, etc. Our only issue was the gas oven was a little finicky and had trouble running at a lower temperature. Ross answered all of our questions quickly. My family gave me kudos for booking a nice home :)
