Large house in a lovely area
We had a family reunion with 11 people, 7 adults and 4 kids ages 7 to 11. The house was the perfect size for us all, with comfortable beds, plenty of bedding and towels, really nice showers and bathrooms. The large table in the kitchen was perfect for eating and just gathering throughout the day. The location was perfect for day trips to Folkestone, Dover and Canterbury. We did find that the rug in the media room needed a clean, and it would have been nice to have shampoos and hand soap in the bathrooms as we had traveled from outside the country and couldn't easily bring these items with us. For the price, it would have been good to have these amenities available to us. In the end, we had a lovely stay here - couldn't beat just relaxing in the backyard and catching up with family. Thank you!

Fantastic house and gardens but you cant enjoy the outside space
The property was beautiful, the outside space had everything you needed to enjoy yourself, large seating areas, with a bar and pool next to it, and a hot tub to enjoy. Unfortunately we were not allowed to use the outside space after 8.00pm if playing music you had to go in doors and shut all the windows, as it was the weekend of the hotest weather we felt this was unreasonable, we received a text from the owner reminding us Friday night at 8.15pm not to have any music if outside, to be honest our chatter was louder than the music that was playing. I gathered everyone in shut the windows and continued our chat in 2 seperate rooms. Saturday my husband went to see the neighbours to tell them what we were planning for Saturday night, which was a Wham Themed gathering with music and that they would be welcome to come, it was a birthday celebration and we thought we would be able to start this of in the garden. We all had made an effort with 80s outfits and was unable to have a party due to the neighbours complaining over the fence to us while we were chatting and told us that we should be inside the house by 8.30pm it had just gone that. Once again we went inside and no party was had. Sunday we half of the family had gone home, so we decided to watch a movie inside, which was queen we may of left a window open as it was another hot night we got another text to say the neighbours were complaining about the noise again at 8.17pm. The owners seem to have an issue with the neighbours and noise, the problem we see is that the write up is wrong how can it be advertised as a great place to have family, friends, hens bridges/grooms and corporate events? and with all that outside space you would think we would be able to enjoy until at least 10pm. There is house rules that you have to click on view more to see about the hot tub and music, if we had seen this we would have never have booked it. We did speak with Chris the owner and he was very sorry that we had experienced, the neighbours constant complaints, it is a stunning house, and great location for local attractions, and can imagine in the winter time great as indoors more. I just think the write up needs to be changed
