Great Snowbird rates now at this tranquil Bon Secour River Cabin, Near Beach

This cabin is located directly on the Bon Secour River, in Bon Secour near Foley. Alabama. It is a stilted cabin, which looks out over a bend in the river where birds and wildlife abound. You can fish from the cabin's own dock or bring your boat and explore the river, Bon Secour Bay, Mobile Bay, the intracoastal waterway, or even the Gulf of Mexico. It's also a great river for kayaking.

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are just minutes away if you need to get away from the tranquility of the cabin. Beaches, golf courses, shopping, outlet malls, nightlife, you name it. Even the Casinos of Biloxi and Gulfport are less than two hours away.

You can even go over to Pensacola Florida and watch the Blue Angeles at the Naval Air Station, only 40 minutes away. At this Bon Secour cabin, you can do as much or as little as you like.

The cabin has a full kitchen, living room with flat screen TV, plus a Flat screen TV in the master. And another flat screen in the second bedroom. Cable included. Queen bed in the master, full size in the second bedroom. You can sit out on the porch overlooking the dock and river or go downstairs to enjoy the river from the porch swing, table and chairs and a gas grill. A boat ramp is located on site.

Great get away with a beautiful view
This property is awesome. Its clean, stocked and very close to everything. The view is breath taking, the river animals do not dissappoint. If we visit again, we will be staying here.

Amazing Stay!
This is the perfect place to stay that’s super close to the beach but gives you your privacy away from normal beach goers. The place was so clean and so inviting. Me and my husband fished off the dock every night and had a great time with all of the outdoor amenities provided. Will definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Retreat
We have come to love this location. It's a quiet little set up not too far from the beach with a peaceful setting perfect for our small family. The owner is really easy to communicate with and has always been very responsive. If you like relaxing with a cup of coffee, a water view and the sounds of nature. This is a quiet place to enjoy some peace while visiting the area.

We were in Gulf Shores for a USSSA softball tournament. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We used the kayaks and the pool and went fishing on the dock. We were close to the fields, beach, shops, & restaurants. We highly recommend this cabin.

This cabin is located in such a beautiful area! I enjoyed watching the few thunderstorms during my stay from the upper deck. The house was very clean and inviting. I would definitely rent this property again! Thank you for a great stay!

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place but close enough to store and beach this is your place. We saw dolphins almost everyday (the best part) . We fished off the pier and really enjoyed the whole experience.

Loved our little getaway. We had best of both worlds. We wanted to enjoy the beach and do a little fishing. We were able to fish anytime we wanted at the place we were staying and we were only mins from the beach. It was a lovely place to stay. We definitely plan to come back.

Came down for a concert at the wharf/weekend getaway. This cabin is conveniently located close to all the activities that you would like to do without being in the middle of the crowds. The kids loved the pool! Will definitely be back.

Perfect place for anyone that wants peace and quiet at night. Also, a short drive to town, for all the attractions Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have to offer. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything to make ourselves at home. Quick responses from the host, on check in and info about the area. Michael was super easy to connect with! House was in a secluded area yet only minutes from outlets, grocery/ walmart, drug store, auto repair (that hopefully you will not need). We seen the dolphins in the early morning, seen much of the wildlife but thankfully no gators. It was the perfect home for a family! Pool was great 3-5 foot deep fenced in so you could still see the river happenings from the pool.

Calm and quiet getaway
We stayed in mid-July. While quite warm, the pool was a quick 2 minute walk from the property. Easy commute to the beach (I recommend the pier beach at the state park). The property was clean abd very welcoming. Fishing was great fun as well as just watching the wildlife. Definitely will return with our family!

Great way to experience Gulf Shores
Comfortable cabin on the Bon Secours River where we used the provided kayaks. Watched some dolphins going up and down the river. Short drive to beaches and Gulf State Park. Loved walking the pier and watching the sharks swimming around. Nice biking at the park too. Enjoyed LuLu’s in Golf Shores and Lambert’s in Foley. Plus made a trip to Billy’s market for fresh sea food.
