Perfect family vacation destination.Beautiful home that sits right on Fish River, a nature lovers paradise. Perfect for a quiet getaway to kayak, fish , swim and enjoy nature. Also close to our gorgeous white sandy beaches in Gulf Shores Alabama and beautiful communities like Fairhope and Magnolia Springs. There are plenty of nature adventures to enjoy like the Weeks Bay Pitcher Bog and nature trail just 3 minutes from house. House has 3 beautiful bedrooms and space for air mattress if needed to accommodate your family. You also have your own private pier to fish, cookout or just enjoy all the wonderful nature surrounding you. Kayak and fishing rods are provided as well as multiple items for swimming . Beach towels are provided. Kitchen is stocked with all your needs for cooking as well as having a COFFEE/ TEA BAR for your enjoyment. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are provided for your pleasure. Luxury linens and spa like towels are provided to help your stay more enjoyable . Dove products are also supplied in both bathrooms for your use. Large TV in living room and a TV is in master bedroom . This is a perfect home to relax, play and enjoy nature at its best.

We will definitely stay again!
This house was great! Everything we needed was right there, the neighbors were nice, the location was perfectly located to shopping, beaches and restaurants. It was so easy to communicate with owners if we had questions.

Couldn’t be better
This property is extremely nice. Very clean house with amazing beds a nice bedrooms and a nice size living/dining room to accommodate the whole family. This property is located right on fish river with one of the nicest boat docks I’ve seen an a big back yard with plenty of room for your pets to play. I really liked the location away from all the traffic a red lights but still only fifteen minutes from Foley. I would recommend this property to everyone looking to stay in the area. I will definitely be comming back.

We enjoyed having time with 2 of our grands and teaching them about catching crabs in the traps on the pier. They thought it was so cool to have kid friendly dinnerware too.

Wonderfully quiet waterfront retreat!
We had a wonderful quiet few days of rest and relaxation. The house was very clean and comfortable. The coffee bar is a very nice touch. Our pups loved watching the birds and fish jump from the dock. We will definitely try to book again!

Awesome river retreat!
The house was clean and had all the comforts you could ever want. Fully stocked kitchen, great mattresses and bed sheets, and the wharf was the best! We lounged on the hanging beds and sunbathed on the lily pad all day watching the boats go by. Host was very responsive and we appreciated all the care and details. Would definitely stay here again.

House clean, well stocked for guests and lots of kitchen tools; kayaks were great; wood pellet on the pier a lot of fun; off the beaten path; we didn't use the fishing poles but they looked essentially new;

Peaceful River getaway
We spent a lot of time on the dock, since the weather was beautiful. Caught some crabs in the traps & used them for gumbo. The house had all that we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept great! Very enjoyable and hope to visit again soon!

Perfect getaway
Jame's home was complete with beautiful views, coffee bar, and fluffy hotel towels. The kayaks were a perfect way to view the river and the other lovely homes in the area. We sat for hours watching fish jump and birds fly. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

The house was great and well stocked. The desk was fabulous. We saw dolphins, turtles, pelicans, sea gulls, crabs and brim. Great toys also. I highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful
We came for Christmas and the house was just as pictured plus beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a tree and all! The coffee bar was fully stocked and such a nice “extra”. The location was convenient to Fairhope. Right on the river which was so nice. We will definitely be back this summer.

Perfect home for our wants
This home will be our go to whenever we come down to visit friends and family in Baldwin County. The owners are real gems, and the property has everything we would want in a vacation experience. The home is located on the Fish River, with beautiful sunsets and an opportunity to relax with the feeling of being close to nature. Its location is convenient to both the Gulf and the lovely town of Fairhope. This place offers the best of all worlds.

Great visit to the Gulf Coast
This property is located on Fish River with neighbors but no one across the river. The sun setting behind the trees as we had beverages on the beautiful dock was a nice way to end our days. We baited the crab traps that were there and were rewarded everyday. The house was comfortable and the beds were some of the best we have experienced in a VRBO. Easy house to stay in. James and Mary were great to work with. Would stay here again.

Amazing week and wedding ceremony!
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, we absolutely loved it! We had some family come down with us from Illinois and friends from Daphne. We had a wedding ceremony on the deck that turned out way better than we ever imagined. Wish I could post a pic on here! We will definitely be back and our friends from Daphne already told their kids to rent it when they come down for a visit.

Beautiful Waterfront Property
We had a great time! Very clean and comfortable. Central to everything. Easy ride to OWA and everything Foley has to offer, as well as Fairhope. Very thoughtful touches, such as dog bowls and treats, snack bars, coffee, and even cotton balls and q-tips in bathrooms. The boathouse has two bed swings which the kids loved. We will be back!

Long weekend getaway
My husband, mother and 2 sweet pups decided to check out Fairhope for a long weekend but wanted to stay somewhere that our dogs would have fun and that would be relaxing/peaceful. We definitely found that staying here! The hosts were very friendly, responsive and made the whole process very easy! The property was incredibly beautiful and the home was very charming. Beds were very comfortable! The hosts went out of their way to also make sure that our pups enjoyed their time as well by having a basket with thoughtful items provided. We can’t say enough good things and will hopefully be back sometime soon!

Definitely Going Back
Perfect location for what we wanted - about 20 minutes to the outlets in Foley and 20 minutes to Fairhope. The house reminded us of an old fish camp. It's not fancy, but it is clean and ideal for spending your time outdoors. The dock is great for watching the sunset. The neighbors on both sides are friendly. We had a couple of questions while we were there. The property manager, Mary, was easy to reach and very helpful. My husband is eager to book our next stay. Thank you for your hospitality! We will definitely be back.

Vacation home on Fish River
Pier was amazing, home was nice, very clean, but I don’t see how they can advertise it sleeps 8 people. Way too crowded for 8. 6 people maximum. Owners supplied many amenities, such as pellets for the pellet grill( which a great job) Fishing off the pier was difficult due to constant stream of boats riding close by. But a super relaxing setting. Only drawback was house too small for 8 people

Unbelievable
This house is amazing!!! Very comfortable inside and out!! A majority of our time was spent on the dock. Out of 4 days at the property, I believe we were inside for 12-15 hours of the trip. The host are very helpful and very easily contacted. I believe the longest it took for a response was 5 minutes. Great people, great location, and yes we will be back!!!

Sitting on the dock of the bay, I mean river . . .
Lovely setting on the Fish River with a view across the river to a natural wildlife area. Fish were jumping, Osprey circling, and sea gulls calling out. Our weather was beautiful so we were able to take full advantage of the kayaks and fishing as well as biking from Point Clear to Fairhope and back. The neighbors are very friendly. We had two dogs and a one year old as well as the four adults - the house was the perfect size with a lovely porch as well as the fully equipped boat house. We would definitely recommend this property for intergenerational families and would be happy to return there some day. I could get used to this river living.
