"I cannot impress upon people how idillic this villa is. It is set near a very small village with peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. There was a maid service twice a week and she did a marvelous job keeping the 5 star villa clean and today. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a holiday to Crete. "

"Clean, modern villa, accurately portrayed in photos. Staff made us daily brunch and served it at the dinner table overlooking the sea. There’s a cement road between the Villa and the beach, but it was convenient for parking our rental cars. There's a private area on the beach with beach chairs to enjoy. The villa’s garage was rented to a coffee shop/bar and the owners will deliver beverages and meals to you on the beach or at the villa. Nice Bluetooth sound system throughout the villa to enjoy...

"We chose the area for the proximity to the ocean and convenience to attractions. It was perfect for short drives to multiple attractions. Home offers every convenience and the neighborhood in the off season was pin drop quiet - The beachside restaurants were closed for season so couldn’t walk to restaurants in off season but they are just a short 5-20 min drive away . "We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Gaia. The villa was clean and spacious with fantastic outside space. It was in a quiet, rural location however was still convenient for local restaurants, supermarkets and the beach and there were many things to do within an hour’s drive (including the airport). Zacharias was a generous and kind host. He insisted on meeting us at the villa despite us not arriving until after midnight. I would highly recommend a stay here."
